Test drove a car last week. No one said anything about making a down payment to hold the car and they still needed to repair/detail it. Drove 2 hours today to meet with them at the time we agreed to and they sold the car this morning. Lied about trying to reach us by phone but were texting us.Report
Would not recommend buying from this dealership. Bought a brand new 2025 Subaru Outback and had it for maybe a week. Noticed the rubber seals around the moon roof, dash, doors and back were failing and peeling. Took it back and the salesman said they would fix it no issue. Received a call the next day being told that the damage is 100% our fault done from a car wash. Never been to a car wash with said car. Argued and got them to repair said damage under a gesture of “good will” as the salesman put it. Parts arrived but never received a phone call for service. Finally get an appointment setup and take the car in to drop it off on Sunday. Come Monday we are told there was never an appointment scheduled and that they will “squeeze us in”. Completely unprofessional and horrible service. I would give a 0 if I could.Report

Sold me a vehicle well over the kbb price with multiple unreported oil leaks and a broken coolant cap. I then took it back and it took them 4 months to fix it with random extra bills added on. Then when I got it back they lost the nuts that keep the battery clamps on and the starter broke after a week.Report
I had my Subaru Forester repaired at Dave Wright’s dealership in Hiawatha, Iowa, on October 9, 2024. My experiences with the engine repair and with everyone I dealt with at the dealership were all excellent. The complimentary visual multi-point inspection of my car when I first arrived gave me useful information. The inspection report suggested new tires in the near future and new rear brake pads. But a mechanic then personally examined the brake pads and reported that they did not need to be replaced quite yet. I appreciated very much that no one pressured me at all into replacing either tires or brake pads on the spot! My Service Advisor was, as with my previous visit, Seth Holub. He was quite friendly, he reviewed my car’s history with me, he was able to answer all my questions about the Subaru Co. Extended warranty being offered on this repair, and he kept me informed about the progress the mechanic was making with this repair. The waiting area at the dealership was spacious and comfortable; beverages and snacks were free, and a staffer there was cordial and helpful. Seth Holub even directed me to a restaurant within easy walking distance since the repair was expected to take 4 hours. Amazingly, the engine repair took only 2.5 hours! I was extremely happy with my experience at Dave Wright’s and would recommend it highly.Report
WORST SERVICE EVER. started with them losing our car key and not telling us for 2 days. Promising calls at a certain time and NEVER calling. Told my husband that work was done, didn't know I was on my phone with another worker who went and visualized car, only to tell me, No it is not fixed yet. Right now they are 2 hours late delivering the car to us. Service technician Jolene is a nightmare.Report
