The chiropractors at Current Chiropractic are driven to provide the most specific, up to date chiropractic care to patients in the Valrico, Brandon, Lithia and Fishhawk areas of Tampa. Chiropractic is based on the belief that human beings are self-healing and self-regulating. This ability to heal and regulate is controlled and delivered through the nervous system. The nervous system activity can be interfered with due to a misalignment of the upper cervical vertebrae also called an upper cervical subluxation. A subluxation can occur when a person's body receives a stress beyond what they can adapt to. The chiropractor's job is to objectively determine when subluxations occur and to help correct them using a specific force into the upper cervical spine. When this interference is determined to be removed using objective measures a person's ability to heal themselves is restored.
