Holiday Inn Express Milwaukee-West Medical Center

Hotel is showing its age. Elevator floor tiles are cracked carpets in hallway are stained. Lots of road noise from the nearby freeway.

Overall, my stay was great. Travel for work and IHG/Holiday Inns are my go-to. The location was great, and most of the staff were pleasant. A huge shout out to JoJo, Tori, and Michael- They are proper examples of what customer service should be. Constantly willing and ready to assist. Now Tina needs to find another profession. She was very unpleasant the whole week of my stay, any request was a massive inconvenience for her. Sour-faced all the time, not a single greeting. I would not stay at this location again just for the chance of having to interact with her.

We had several ants and other bugs in our room plus to be able to flush the toilet, we had to take the back of the toilet to flush. They offered to move rooms but we were already settled and it was getting late. Worse place I've stayed at in a while. It was also very outdated. The breakfast was undesirable. I won't be coming back to this hotel. Not worth the money.

Place is in need of a major remodel ! The sofa bed in our king suite was bent and broken , hard to deploy. Staff is very friendly and hard workers , but fighting a battle with a rundown bldg.

- Wet floor in the room

- No hairdryer, and told the hotel didn’t have any, yet our friends had one

- Empty water in the gym

Had the worst weekend ever at this hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst friend. Went to check in at 3:15 in the afternoon was told that my King room was not ready yet. So i left and came back 45 minutes later. Was then told that they didn't have any more king rooms. And only room that they had was a queen handicap room. Then the very rude. Went up to room and the room door was open there were wet towel all over by the front of the room there were problems with the refrigerator was told that it was broken and housekeeping must have forgotten to pick up the wet towel and the carpet was very wet. Went into bathroom and there was a plastic bag over the fire Extinguisher they never told me reason. Went to check out Sunday morning i said to the employee that i will be waiting to hear from the General Manager. The employee said to me in a very rude tone why because you didn't get the room that you had reserved. At that point i had no more words for her. Then ask could you just email me my receipt never received a receipt they just charged my card. Worst weekend ever.

The breakfast lady was really bad always be having attitude with everybody no good

We did have air set at 55 and still was way too warm in the room. Needs to get worked on

Nice and close to hospital. Wife and mom stayed here as I was getting ready for radiation and surgery to remove a tumor that went into my head from my colon cancer. Nice accommodations I’m told by wife.
