You'll find that we do things a little bit differently than most other companies. We consider our relationship with you to be ‘open book'. It's our job to provide you with the highest quality materials and workmanship possible, while protecting your wallet. We go the extra mile, starting in the very beginning of the bidding stage, to fight for the best pricing for you. Instead of just giving the work to the crews that we use on a regular basis, we keep our trade partners honest by soliciting no less than 2 bids for every trade involved in your project. We compile these bids in an easy to understand format for your review during the bidding/budget stage. At the end of the day, you decide who you'd like to hire, based on the multiple bids we provide you. This gives you the confidence of knowing that the prices you're getting are fair.
Prior to ever signing a contract for construction we create detailed line item budgets for your review so that you know where every penny is being spent. These detailed spreadsheets are used throughout the building process to track comparisons between ‘estimated to actual' expenses on a weekly basis so that you are always aware of the financial state of your project. We pride ourselves in completing our finished projects within 10% of our original budgets.
Our open book policy continues during the building stage. We work on a fixed margin that we agree to up front. On a monthly basis, we compile all receipts and expenses and reconcile them to the original budget. You are provided with a copy of all invoices and receipts as well as a reconciled copy of the budget on a monthly basis.
