Worst hotel experience of my life. They were grossly understaffed and so could not open the door to my room (with all my belongings) after an electrical failure with the lock.Report
The vallet attendant was crooked and confiscated my parking ticket to sell off at discounted rates for his own gain.
There was no attempt by management to rectify anything. I have stayed here before with no issues, but if something does come up, don't expect management to come to your rescue.Re: Worst hotel experience of ... great location, friendly accommodating staff, clean updated roomsReport
When we checked in I was surprised to be told room wouldn't be cleaned unless we asked. That was a first for us for a major brand hotel. Checked in on Friday, asked Saturday evening to have room cleaned on Sunday. It wasn't. Notified front desk, around 3pm, was told it was too late in the day they would put it on list for Monday. Happened to run into maid Monday morning. I asked if our room was on list to be cleaned? She said it wasn't. They did clean room after I handled notifying housekeeping myself. First impression going up to room was how dirty looking carpet was on 6th floor hallway. We entered our room and it had a strange smell. Like someone had been smoking, or possibly burned something in the microwave. I also don't appreciate on a 5 night stay the last night costing nearly 40% more than the first 4 nights. If your hotel hadn't been the closest place to where our kids live we very likely would have looked for another place to stay.Report
