Courtyard by Marriott Riverside UCR/Moreno Valley Area

We stayed here while visiting a relative in the hospital. Valentina and Kyla at the front desk helped make our check in and late dinner at the Bistro a fun time at the end of a long day.

I was warmly welcomed today at the reception by Valentina, who greeted me with a gift for my Bonvoy membership and also spoke to me in my native language, which is always appreciated for those of us who do not have English as our mother tongue. Afterwards she helped me with the printing of a document I needed, without a doubt her hard work and great service attitude made my day!

I never write reviews for hotels, but wanted to let people know that the mattress is encased, which is very reassuring! Many hotels I’ve stayed at do not cover the bed’s mattress with an encasement. I discovered it when I lifted the bottom sheet to slide in my toddler’s bed bumper. ||Other than that pleasant surprise, the room was clean (except for noticeable stains on the ottoman, but no biggie), shower pressure was strong with an adjustable head, lights are easy to switch on/off, and there are plenty of outlets and usb ports for charging devices. ||The air conditioning/fan/heat unit was easy to adjust. We actually turned it off for the night because the cold seeping in from outside was enough for us to feel comfortable. The hotel seems like an old building with popcorn ceilings, so insulation and soundproofing is not great, but it’s a Courtyard property, so I’m not coming in with high expectations. ||That being said, front desk staff were professional, as you’d expect. This location is also very convenient if you’re heading over to UCR; just 5 minutes driving distance! Overall, had a comfortable, no frills stay here for one night.

I was placed here by the company I was contracted with. It was a terrible experience. I’m not from the area but quickly learned this is the rougher part of Riverside. On my first day, there was a homeless individual hanging out inside the gated pool area. I took a walk to pick up food a block down and passed by multiple homeless people. I started getting bites on my legs shortly after arriving. As soon as I moved hotels it stopped and my legs started healing but as you can see they scarred quite a bit. The only positive thing I can say is the cleaning service was daily but I think the hotel needs to do a deep cleaning/disinfectant of all surfaces especially the carpet.

Kyla and Anah were amazing! Love the staff here and enjoyed my stay. They saved me from a horrible booking at another accommodation and checked in on my well being throughout my stay.

Staying here for a work event with a large group. The staff has been incredibly friendly, well organized, very communicative. The manager Hana has been a dream. It's about a mile from Mission Inn and downtown Riverside, which is very interesting, but you do have to drive. A great hotel to be able to walk around your area and very close to UCR.

I stay at a lot of hotels with work and overall is this the fanciest hotel? No. But what it does have is quite possibly the nicest staff I have ever encountered. Hana at the front desk has been so incredibly accommodating. Really everyone one here from the management to the housekeeping has been fantastic. I have had a decent amount of one off needs and they have done everything with a smile. I would happy to get put here again!

Stayed there two times and loved it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a nice and pleasant stay overall. Will be back.
