Add ReviewSo so experience. Non surgery issues here. Saw doctor twice for less than 5 mins each time. Never really found out what was wrong with my knees since noone bothered to go over my mri with me. Waited almost 2 months to get approval for gel shots. Pissed off that I can't get in before the new year considering I've met my insurance deductable. Now it'll cost me atleast $2700 out of pocket for these shots. EXTREMELY upset yet somehow not surprised. Healthcare hasn't been what it used to be for years. Would not recommend them to anyone. ????????????????Report
Called multiple times and left multiple messages to try to get an appointment. Never answered my phone calls (their representatives are always busy), never called me back. Basic lack of courtesy doesn't give me much confidence in their care.Report
I highly recommend Core Orthopedics and Dr. Drake a wonderful Doctor, has helped me through my severe back pain. The office is always nice and clean, I'm never waiting more then 10 min and everyone in the office is very helpful. MRI facility is right there, very convenient, Staff from MRI very professional and caring. My entire family comes to this group! And Now they have an office in McHenry!! YEA!!! :)Report

Absolutely love love love Dr Murray and his staff. They're great people and they listen.Report
The surgery was very good but the office did not inform me that they would be using an anesthesiologist not accepting Medicare and I was hit with a $3,137 bill. BEWARE! Make sure that all the providers they they use also accept Medicare or whatever your insurance may be.Report
UPDATE: Had my other knee done by him in 2017.Report
Had a total knee replacement in July 2016 with Dr. Kuesis. I have nothing but totally positive things to say about the whole experience -- initial consult, pre-op prep (extensive due to some pre-existing health issues), surgery & recovery, post-op physical therapy and follow-up. The entire staff was wonderful and very detail oriented. I am planning my other knee replacement in June 2017 and am in-process with Core and Dr. Kuesis.
By the way, my primary care physician of 30 years has no bedside manor but I trust him implicitly as I am totally honest with him. I find Dr. Kuesis and Tom, his physician assistant, to be totally efficient and as "sensitive" as time allows. I don't choose my doctors for competence, but understand if some people find them a bit "non-social media". As for one complaint about pain relief, who knows . . . maybe there was a medical reason (such as reached the limit for opiod pain relievers, etc., -- everyone responds to, and has pain tolerances, very differently.
THEY CARE ABOUT YOU.Report
Been a patient for almost five years . Hip replacement back problems arthritis. You name it I have it. Never going back due to the Drs arrogance and asinine bedside manner. Can't believe the way he treated me when I asked for pain relief. He treated me like I was someone just trying to scam him out of a "high". For petes sake. I have been his patient for 5 years. He has my file and has sent me to a pain clinic for previous issues. Never again will I give this man my money. Cancelling next appointment and going to find someone I like. I should have just gone to the er!Report
