Coral Springs Funeral Home ReviewsLEAVE REVIEW FOR BUSINESS
My Mom and I would like to thank Michael and James for making my Father's Funeral so special. In a time of immense pain after loosing someone we love so much, finding the right place and the right people was just a God sent. From the moment they were contacted to come pick up my dad after his passing, it was all done with so much care and high respect. Then during our first meeting with Michael for all arrangements , we realized how much they care about what they do, it was all done to perfection and mostly to make sure my mom and I had absolutely nothing to worry about. The day of the service, it was all arranged, honestly it did not feel like regular funeral, it felt from the very beginning like a celebration of my Father's life. We were allowed to bring our dog, the dog my dad loves so much, at the beginning of the service to say his Goodbyes. The energy was very peaceful, and calming, it was a beautiful service prepared to perfection. We had family join over video as well, and my Fathers portraits and a beautiful video was played on all Tv's all over. Michael and James, THANK YOU! for Caring so much, for making this difficult time in our lives so much easier, and for making all arrangements for such a beautiful service for my dad. Michael, THANK YOU! especially for making sure we knew we can count on you, for remind in us we got to take care of ourselves as well and to try to enjoy the holidays and always remember Papi in joy. Your words were very appreciated. Thank you guys!! Much love and Much Respect- Mary and Elizabeth Romero
Dealing with the passing of my son was extremely difficult for me but Greg and his staff were very Professional, helpful, kind, Compassionate and understanding and did their best to help us as much as possible. Sad to say when i walked in and saw my son it brought tears to my eyes to see the job preparing and how of an owesome job and handsome my son looked. On behalf of my family we all want to thank you for helping us during this difficult time
Not being from the Florida East coast area, I took a chance at making arrangements for a loved one based on their reviews. They did not disappoint. The staff was unbelievably nice and helpful. They made every step of this painful process easy and pleasant. Michael Fishman, Funeral Director Intern, guided me to make the right decisions and made himself available 24/7. James Tero did an amazing job with the website, memory card, etc. Flowers were beautifully done. Highly recommend.
I would like to Recommend Highly the Fantastic Manner Michael Fishman/ Funeral Director, with Assistant James Tero, Attendant Paul Valdez, and Also Administrator Cheryl Loo, to Handle All Affairs with such Caring and Over the Top Details, Turning a Bad Time into a Wonderful Celebration of the Life Of My Loved Ones. I Highly Reccommend You Contact Coral Springs Funeral Home Services, to Allow You and Your Loved Ones a Beautiful Celebration Of Their Lives At A Time When You Can Feel Relieved at the Professional Manner Our Loved Ones are Cared for With Them. Thanks Again For A Lovely Send Off for My Beautiful Mother. The Affair Went Off Without A Hitch. God Bless !
Michael and James recently managed the arrangements for our fathers service. I cannot express enough gratitude for what a wonderful job they did and how caring their staff was. They held our hand through the entire process answered all of our questions and ensured that everything went smoothly the day of the service.

When my Dad passed away after a long health struggle I was not able to say my goodbyes because of Covid travel restrictions. His last wish was to have a tree burial here where his grandchildren live. CS Funeral Home, and particularly Mike, we're such a tremendous pillar of support and compassion, facilitating the transatlantic transfer of my Dad's urn, preparing the biodegradable urn. Thank you so much, your kindness made this process more than easy for me, allowing me to focus on my grief. I really appreciate you ??
Let me start by saying if your looking for considerate funeral home that will respect the wishes of your family, RUN! Run in another direction!! This funeral home was recommended by a coworker whom like myself is very firm and you need to be dealing with Greg. Greg from one New Yorker to another I am disgusted!
We buried my grandfather within a week due to family members who were already in town whom visited from over seas. As my grandfather recently began hospice and we knew his time was coming to an end.
The first issue we had with this funeral home, they took it upon themselves to call the church and change the funeral service WITHOUT speaking to my family first!! My grandparents has been apart of the church we originally set the arrangements with for over 15 years. By the time we found out they no longer had the time slot available forcing us to go with another church.
After confirming the viewing for Friday Greg decides to call and TELL us that the viewing will be changed from Friday evening to Saturday morning because the arrangements would be three days instead of two. The audacity of this individual is uncanny!!!!
Third issue we had, the casket we had chosen was unavailable. Instead of them doing their due diligence and checking the availability before confirming with us or better yet trying to assist us finding the same color casket (my grandfather favorite color btw). He tried to pressure us into selecting another color. Ultimately we ended up with an upgraded casket but less or no haggle would've been respectable.
Once the services actually began the positive thing I would say is the place was very clean, each service began on time, and the gentleman in the front was very helpful. However, the makeup on my grandfather was applied terribly! All in his hair, covering his eyebrows, his lip makeup was blotted and messy! NO LOVE OR CARE went into it. We literally had to clean some of it off for him to look decent. Just a horrible feeling!
To add insult to injury, at the end of the viewing they attempted to poach our left over foods and take our serving utensils!!! Extremely distasteful! I honestly wouldn't be surprised if his suit was removed after the funeral.
Last but not least at the conclusion of all services. My mother noticed the floral arrangements that we're sent to the funeral home for the viewing didn't make its way to the burial site. Only the one that we purchased arrived. When she contacted Greg he stated they were "not in good shape due to no refrigeration or water" so HE DECIDED not to send them. After we got settled we decided to pick the flowers up anyway! When we called the funeral home we spoke with Cheryl to let them know we were going to pick them up Greg called 2 minutes later to say they aren't in good shape and are wilted.
We now have these so called "dead" flowers one of which magically has water in the vase!!
Greg is a very shiesty individual and should find another profession!!
This is already a trying time!!! The added theatrics were unnecessary and disheartening!!! I wouldn't recommend this funeral home to my worst enemy!
Photos of the flowers after we picked them up are attached clearly they wanted to keep them for themselves or for other customers SMH.
After my families loss of our mother and unsure what to do next, I contacted Coral Springs funeral-Hm and spoke with Mr Gregory Tammaro. He and the entire staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure that we knew our mother was in good hands but also that all of the details leading up to her Memorial service was fully explained and handled professionally and easily. They made the entire process as comfortable as possible and put my family and I at ease. Truly and amazing group of people and highly recommend. A heart felt "Thank You" to all at Coral Springs Funeral home.
