Services ConCut Southeast Offers

Core Drilling: Diamond bit core drilling is a fast, safe method of producing consistent diameter holes in concrete, stone, asphalt, & masonry. It also does not cause impact or vibration damage to the surrounding structure. Common applications include openings for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC installations. By stitch drilling a series of overlapping holes, difficult or odd shaped sections of concrete can be cut and removed where typical methods might not work. We can drill holes up to 60" in diameter to most any depth.

Slab Sawing: Also known as flat sawing, this refers to sawing horizontal concrete surfaces such as roofs, floors, highways, and bridge decks. It is typically used in removing sections of pavement for replacement, trenching for plumbing or other below the slab access, controlled demolition, and cutting expansion joints. Our walk behind machines utilizing diamond blades can cut up to 24" deep.

Wall Sawing: Also known as track sawing, this method utilizes a diamond blade on a portable, track-mounted system that can be used for horizontal as well as vertical cuts. Precision cuts for doorways, windows, HVAC units, and other openings can be obtained using this set-up. Bevel edge cuts can also be made. We can cut concrete up to 24" thick using this method or, if both sides are accessible, can cut up to 48".

Hand Sawing: Hand-held powered saws using diamond blades or chains are generally used where other types of sawing are not feasible. They are highly portable and can access small, tight areas where cutting is needed. Chain sawing can eliminate over-cuts associated with other types of cutting.

Wire Sawing: This versatile method uses a series of guide pulleys to draw a continuous loop of diamond-coated wire through a cut. It originally was developed to extract stone in quarries and is ideal for cutting reinforced concrete structures thicker than 24". Wire saw systems are quite flexible in the field and can be arranged to accommodate limited access or confined areas while cutting vertically, horizontally, or on an angle. Almost no structure is too large for us to cut and we would only be limited by the lifting and removal capacity of equipment on the job.

Selective Demolition: We also offer concrete removal services as well as selective concrete demolition.
