I've been seeing Steven for over 25 years for various issues and his acupuncture treatments have always been very effective. His knowledge and experience is unmatched in this city! I love his calm demeanor and professionalism. I highly recommend him!

I’m only a quarter of the way through my treatment plan and already I feel ten times better. My elbow was my initial complaint, but during my consultation Steven told ME other symptoms I had and he was dead on... My whole body, mind, mood are all vastly improved - my elbow is improving quickly, and I really feel great across the board. As each session builds it seems to address a new layer and I feel stronger and even optimistic. In 2020!

This isn’t acupuncture like you’ve maybe had in a chiropractic clinic. This is real Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Steven is particularly skilled and naturally talented. With each session he seems to put more pieces of the puzzle of my health together and I keep feeling better in ways I’d just chalked up to aging. I have visited several acupuncturists in Europe and America and I’m really impressed with Steven. Lucky to have him so close to home.

I had my ankle replaced in Nov 2019 and through PT and rehab, my gait changed causing the discs in my lower back to herniate. This caused debilitating pain and I was unable to stand or walk without great pain. I went to my doctor and they recommended oral sterols and pain medication and then revaluation. I was in severe pain and didn't want to wait to see if this prescribed treatment worked. I called multiple acupuncturists and the took the first one who would see me. They treated me at the source of pain with acupuncture and e-stim. After two sessions, my pain was worse. I found Steven Sonmore on line and read the testimonials. I called on the weekend and they called back and could see me first thing Monday morning. After one treatment I could tell a major difference and immediately signed up for more. I have had eight treatments and the pain relief and mobility recovery is amazing. Steve provided me with a list of yoga stretches to conduct which will help in my recovery and I can tell the difference after only two weeks. I will continue my treatment plan and highly recommend Steven Sonmore and his approach to acupuncture! Thank you Steven!!

I went to Complete Oriental Medical Care with a persistent and nagging issue that no physicians had been able to help me with. I explained my symptoms to Steven and we worked out a great plan of attack to try to tackle my issues. After only a few visits, things started to turn around and after a couple months I was on track to get my life back! I can't say enough positive things about the care at Complete Oriental Medical Care. If you are looking for relief from pain and suffering, I would recommend giving Complete Oriental Medical care a try!

After looking at online reviews my sister in law recommended this place based on the reviews. My mother went to see Dr Steven for acupuncture treatments multi-times for neck,shoulder, arm pain from work related injury and headaches. After several sessions (more than 10 sessions!) he recommended another 24 sessions. I only found out bc my mother finally told me that she had been going to see a acupuncturist and in some of the sessions the needles were causing pain when being inserted (I dont live with her so I found out several sessions in). She does not speak english well and has high pain tolerance. It is possible she might not have been able to communicate well that the sessions were hurting but first off they should be relieving pain not adding to it. I told her to stop her sessions immediately and that the sessions should not be painful especially when the needles are inserted. Do not go here.

Secondly she did not tell me dr Steven had inserted a needle from the back of her hand that went all the way through to the palm of her hand! This is DANGEROUS! Luckily her hand only had minor bleeding and pain for a week. I didnt know about this particular event until recently as we are still seeking treatment for her pain managent. I only found out bc I suggested we find a reputable acupuncturist and she didnt want to. Her reasoning being that Complete Oriental was also a "reputable clinic w great reviews" and look at what happened with her hand. She is very leery of going to any acupuncturist. Had I found out about this much early on I would have reported them. ALSO SHE DID NOT GET BETTER WITH THE MANY TREATMENTS SHE RECEIVED.

I can’t say enough good about Dr Steven. I had terrible vertigo that I was battling for months. I had tried everything. Regular doctors, chiropractic, physical therapy. Nothing worked. It was so frustrating.

A friend referred me to Dr Steven and within a few sessions my symptoms started to improve! I kept going and sure enough he was able to help me get rid of that terrible vertigo.

I have decided to keep visiting him as the overall wellness I feel is so much better.

I came in because I had mono, doctors and nurses at urgent weren’t doing anything but right from the first treatment I felt amazing relief. I have a lot more energy then before and the other symptoms went away very quickly. I would recommend this place for anyone.

I came to Complete Oriental Medical Care to get help with a pinched nerve in my shoulder. I had severe pain in my shoulder and numbness in my hand. I sought help from my clinic and the clinic doctor provided steroids and muscle relaxants. These medications provided some relief but left me groggy and unable to work effectively. The pain also made it difficult to get restful sleep. I was a ball of pain and feeling like a zombie.

I decided to seek acupuncture to get relief without the hard medicine. The acupuncture provided by Steven has been incredible. With the first treatment I felt relief. Within a few weeks my pain substantially subsided and I felt human again. With the addition of the Chinese herbs I also aches a restful and regular nightly slumber without the sluggish feeling.

Steven is absolutely an expert acupuncturist. He designs a care plan specifically to the needs of each patient. I couldn’t be happier with my results.

Dr Sonmore and Naijin have been incredibly helpful in facilitating my healing journey. I have been struggling with ice pick headaches, nausea, and BFS (Benign Fasiculation Syndrome). Western medicine has not proven to be particularly helpful. Dr Sonmore was the first Dr to actually give me a diagnosis and create a plan for healing. Naijin is always friendly, supportive and flexible with getting me in to see Dr Sonmore. I highly recommend this practice!! Many thanks and deepest gratitude to both Dr Sonmore and Naijin!
