About Chill Colorado Creamery
We opened in May 2013 with a desire to create the most amazing, creamy, natural ice cream. Our innovative technique is freezing your custom-made creation at minus 320 degrees with liquid nitrogen. You'll love the show....but you'll come back for the taste! We added 13-inch delicate and decadent crepes, plus specialty espresso drinks (hot or frozen) to round out our menu.
Our other desire is to do good...to our customers, our staff, our community, and the world. Fueled by a desire to "get off the sidelines" to give more to those in need, Chill has its roots in a desire to give to children around the world who have no means locally. As we establish Chill, we're looking forward to achieving that goal!
Christine has worked in innovative product development for the last 25 years. It was on the streets of the Dominican Republic that the idea of doing more was born. Seeing children in such dire need and a culture/society that seemed to be sitting on the sidelines when it came to these children's needs was too much. Christine clearly felt that God was calling her to do more--to get off the sidelines.
On the short list of what to do were a book, a screenplay, or a business. The concept of doing something innovative with ice cream creation rose to the top of the list.
These values drive Christine at Chill: doing good to customers, staff, community, and the world; striving to be environmentally friendly; using natural ingredients; employing innovative techniques; innovating with menu creation; maintaining good stewardship; and operating with integrity.
As a new business owner, Christine (and her husband, Ray) are learning a lot each day and thankful for the incredible staff who are making all these dreams and values come true.
