The Inn has been furnished with antiques of the Federal and Empire periods with great attention to detail. The rooms have period lighting, wide-board pine floors and original double-hung multipaned windows with uniquely textured wavy glass. The bathrooms have been restored with the original pedestal sinks and brass fixtures, flagstone floors and delft tiles. For your relaxation, the heated sunroom harbors antique wicker sofas and chairs, atop a natural flagstone floor full of flourishing plants. You have unobstructed views of the entire valley. All of it creates an authentic harmonious flow throughout the building where you can feel a sense of days gone by, back when the inn was built in the 19th Century

Starting back in 1832 as a stage coach stop, the Charlotte Valley Inn has been deemed a historic landmark in central New York in the Northern Catskill Mountains. Â Over the years times may have changed, but you can turn back time by staying here for an evening. Â Authentic wood slab floors, mahogany slab doors, and loads of original artifacts abound here.
