Detailed Business Description
Located in Villa Rica, the Center for Allergy and Asthma of Georgia offers high-quality care for patients suffering from medical conditions that stem from allergic reactions, asthma, sinus problems, and related pulmonary conditions. What sets us apart as a healthcare center is that each of our doctors are board certified, meaning that they have spent a minimum of 2 years specializing in Allergy and Immunology, in addition to their medical schooling and 3-year residency.
Our services treat a variety of conditions and problems that stem from allergy and immune system responses, including gastrointestinal conditions; dermatitis, eczema and other skin conditions; and ear, nose, and throat problems. We treat all forms of asthma, such as childhood asthma, adult asthma, exercise-induced asthma, and other forms of this chronic lung condition. For everything our specialists treat, they develop customized, personalized treatment plans for each patient. Each plan is based on the patient's specific needs and symptoms, ensuring that they're receiving the most effective treatment possible.
Our Villa Rica allergists are wholeheartedly devoted to serving the community with the best possible care. That's why the Center for Allergy and Asthma of Georgia partners with local hospitals to reach as many patients as possible. Our care is not limited to our patients - we believe in promoting health in the whole community. Our center also practices a No-Wait Policy for new and existing patients. We understand that allergy symptoms and breathing problems can come up suddenly, and in many cases care is needed as quickly as possible. Our No-Wait Policy means we see our patients as quickly as we can as soon as they contact us—on the same day, if possible. We also offer extended hours for patients in need because we know that breathing issues can be distressing. If you need a Villa Rica allergy specialist, call the CAAG today at (770) 459-0620 to schedule an appointment!
Center for Allergy and Asthma of Georgia ReviewsLEAVE REVIEW FOR BUSINESS
Excellent place!!! Several locations. Caring Doctors and Staff. Dr. Kharod is my treating physician. She's awesome!!!
After several visits to Wellstar Douglas ER, I was diagnosed with bronchitis. I continued to get worse. This place saved my life. I had walking pneumonia. I requested to continue treatment at the Douglasville location close to my home. This is when I met Dr. Kharod. My first visit with her, I explained I have many medication allergies, I've never had any trouble with my lungs and I was scared. Immediately she stopped typing and addressed my fear. She explained the medications, treatment plan and when to seek emergency room help.
She ordered a peck flow meter through my local pharmacy and explained the importance use of it. So far no more emergency room visits.
I love this place. My kid's allergies are under control since they started the shot treatment and my son has been able to play soccer every season. We love the sweet Dr. Karod. She is super awesome!! She really takes her time to answer any question and to get to now her patients. She explains everything and makes sure patients don't run out of their meds. I highly recommend this practice. Everybody is really nice from the front desk, to the nurses to the Dr.
