Our Connecticut & New York Employment Law Attorneys have the privilege of exploring the work and career challenges our clients face every day. We collaborate with clients to find realistic and cost-effective solutions that do not involve litigation. Although we litigate every day, we strongly encourage clients and employers to talk through their contract disputes, severance negotiations, employment discrimination and the like before considering litigation.

If your looking for an employment lawyer chances are you need help.Report
You know that you were mistreated but maybe you do don't understand the process and maybe your not aware of your rights.
What I experienced is that most Attorneys want thousands of dollars up front just to get into a room with them. That's before they can even articulate any value they can bring to your case.
This gave me a bad taste and I started to understand the stereo type. I thought their oath was to help the people who cannot help themselves, because we were terminated or retaliated against.
That was until I met Kirsten Schneider with Carey & Associates.
From the very beginning of my phone conversation with Susan M. Seyfried, one of the paralegals and office manager, I could sense something different. I immediately felt a different energy then what I had been experiencing from the days leading up to.
I'm not really at liberty to discuss what services were provided but I will say they were AS PROMISED.
If your in trouble and you need help I recommend Carey & Associates. I tried everyone and let me tell you they are more then reasonable and up front with their billing procedures.

I worked with the team at Carey & Associates, P.C. I walked away feeling that my issue was well handled, I was provided clear guidance with great reasoning and expertise. Most importantly, I felt I was treated as more than just a customer.Report

I am so grateful to have cross paths with Carey & Associates. Your firm's value proposition in preserving one's human dignity to earn a decent-honest livelihood is aligned with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, United Nations General Assembly: 'Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favourable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.'Report
Mark Carey, thank you so much for the blogs that you personally wrote with simplicity that spoke the truth about the realities of the work environment in every industry. I quietly choked in tears as I realized my professional work life journey has an end: No More "That's the Way It Is".
Chris Avcollie, a heartfelt appreciation for your legal expertise and professionalism. Your advice was the guiding light that spurred an inner resilience to move forward.
I encourage everyone to be their own 'professional work life' advocate, regardless of work title. Instead of reactionary decisions, heed and consult with Carey & Associates, for the best option to take.

I'm very grateful and beyond impressed with the services offered by Carey & Associates, PC! From my experience as a client, this team goes out of their way to get the job done, get it done right, and get it done fast - I had same-day turnaround with almost everything that I needed help with, all of which was done with quality.Report
Before contacting this team, I had already reached out to about 5 or 6 other employment rights law firms - all of them either discounted my rights or didn't call back (if you're reading this, chances are this happened to you too). When I called this firm, Susan was so generous (the way you need to be treated if you're calling about your employment rights) and promptly got me in contact with an amazing attorney named Chris. I can't thank him enough for his support and incredible turnaround time.
I'm very grateful to have Chris as my attorney, he's done more help for me than he probably realizes. Your employment rights are a reflection of your civil rights - this team is dedicated to defending your rights.
They have continued to help me with two FMLAs and have been very responsive, supportive and helpful. They follow up frequently, listen to my concerns and questions and address each quickly but thoroughly. They have handled numerous issues regarding my situation at work and have relieved much stress. The thoroughness and quick responses, even after hours, have been excellent.Report
