Add ReviewTook 2 hours to program key when I was told it would take 1/2 hour. Bad enough that key cost more than $300, but to take so long to prepare, very frustrating.Report
I would recommend asking for a written quote upfront if you make an appointment for service on your vehicle here. The price I was expected to pay on the day of service was more than what I confirmed when I scheduled my appointment. After I expressed my irritations about the changed quote to the service associate, he did lower the price for me but not to the original amount of what I was told when scheduling. The real issue arose when I was about to make payment after the now adjusted price. After the deduction, I went to pay and the price was even more than the price I was just told when trying to pay in person. I had to point out this error before inserting my card to the associate. They fixed it, but didn't explain to me why I was again being upcharged after we just spoke about a new price. Like seriously, after being told they don't want me leaving upset, and then being given a "lower" quote, that I again had to point out. I was lied to, now even more upcharged, and more upset. This alone has changed my perspective on this Subaru dealership and I will now be considering to spend the extra 30 minutes driving to the Wilsonville Subaru dealership. My daughter’s car had to be towed to Capitol Subaru right before the Christmas holidays (a really busy time). The technicians were able to get to it well before the date indicated and made the necessary repairs quickly. Eric was extremely nice, helpful and professional to speak with by phone, and Jessica kept us well informed via text. I appreciate that they also gave us a list of future car needs/repairs. Overall, very pleased with Capitol’s service.Report

They said a car was certified pre-owned and then when it came time to sign the papers, suddenly it wasn't.
The car buying experience here was abysmal.
Their service department is second to none. I had several things done to my new Subaru, and they were able to complete it all in one day. They even offered me a complimentary loaner vehicle while mine was being worked on.Report

My partner and I were not looking forward to dealing with the sales pressure tactics of a dealership, but after reading the reviews for Capitol Subaru, we decided to take a chance. When we arrived, we were greeted by Israel Saldana, who ended up being the perfect salesperson for us. He never made us feel pressured in any way. We took multiple test drives and decided we wanted to get a new 2024 Forester Wilderness. When it came time to finalize the sale, Finance Manager Adam Smith made the buying process stress free and smooth. I highly recommend the Capitol Subaru team if you are looking to buy a Subaru.Report
I bought a new Forester last Spring and not only did I have the best sales experience ever with Nic Carlile, but also excellent assistance learning how to operate the new features, thanks to Andrew Davis. Andrew also gives customers his cell number and I've taken advantage of that to call with questions I have. He answers immediately and has been extremely helpful in the time since. My service experience was also superb; I can't imagine going anywhere else to get a car!Report
This was the best car buying experience I’ve had by far. Riley was a great initial online contact, I appreciate her quick responses. Thanks to Harley in sales for being knowledgeable, bringing my first choice for a test drive with zero pressure and no upselling (bonus for this no nonsense approach!).
