Bought my Subaru from these guys years ago and sent two more friends their way who got great deals. Would highly recommend!

Thank you SO much Samantha for making our experience easy & painless. We came from a couple hrs away & she had everything set up before we got there. Wonderful experience, thanks again. My husband is in love with his car:)

Just bought my first brand new car and Samantha Bernal was a gem! She sent my husband a thorough video of the vehicle we were interested in so we knew exactly what we wanted was *actually* in stock. Then, when things weren't really looking that promising after all, Sam found the same vehicle for us with an even better deal than the original. And now I'm rocking my Crosstrek Sport like a G! Thanks, Sam. :)

Up until my last service I would have gladly given them 5 stars. Now, I'd give them none if it were possible. Complete dishonesty and manipulation. Read further to find out why.

I have taken my car here for regular maintenance from the beginning, I even bought my car here. I had always had amazing service and pricing until my last service.

I brought my car in for an oil change and returned to have my service advisor Ernie tell me there were several leaks and it would be $3k to fix. I asked to talk to someone about my trade in value and took the 30 second walk to the sale side and met with someone. I was then told that the value of my car was only about $5k because the repairs needed would be about $5-6k to fix. But wait a second, why was I told by my service advisor just moments before that it would be $3k to fix? They then told me the service manager looked at my paperwork and gave that quote. Red flags galore!! So I said thanks and left.

I then emailed the service advisor again to get a detailed, line item quote and didn't get a response until over a week later. The response was only a brief email, not a detailed quote. On top of that it was a completely different price than I was given originally. Now I was being quote about $4k.

I spoke with several other people because I thought the the situation seemed off. I have family who know cars inside and out who were able to take a look at my car. Nothing was found. Not a single thing wrong that the service advisor said was. In addition to this I looked over my paperwork again. The MPI line was blank, nothing described what they *said* they found. This is where it should have been detailed about what they found. They did attach another diagnostics form with some pictures, but again, there was nothing specific described as to what was wrong with my car, just the basic template text and some random pictures that I now don't even think were my car.

What prompted me to even write this review so long after (this happened in April) was the fact that I took my car in for an oil change today, almost 10k miles later. I picked it up and NOTHING was found. Absolutely nothing.

Do not trust this place. Everyone there may be super friendly and helpful on the surface, but it's a front. It has changed and I would never bring my car here again because I simply cannot trust them.

Purchased the second Subaru Ascent with the assistance from Mr. Ford Schwartz (yes! Mr. Ford at the Subaru Dealership!). The vehicle was fully taken care of, the customer service was 110% (no bull!), and the service Technician (Ray) came through with flying colors. It's tough to give a 5 star review, but this team really worked hard to earn them. I am sorry that I can't name everyone, but Ford, Ray(service), Dylan(parts), Holly(Sedgewick), and Fernando.

If you're going to buy Subaru, Darrel Is the man! Thank you for keeping us in the loop with communications throughout the pre- order and up to when it was time to pick up the vehicle.
We truly appreciate your commitment and professionalism you have for your customers.

It had been some time since we purchased through a dealership, but you guys made it so simple.

Thanks to:
Darrel, Oseas, Daniella, and Buddy.

Had a great buying experience here. Got a new 2021 base at the end of august. Salesmen were great and polite. No complaints there.

However, I took my new car in for it's first oil change, Saturday 11/27/21, no problems with the oil change, but man they really scratched the hell out of the hood.

Very disappointed especially since this is a new car. I've tried very very hard to avoid light swirls marks and scratches.

Car had very few swirl marks going into the shop, now the hood is covered and I can see the damage to the clear coat even at night in the street lights. Looks like they lightly sprayed it with water after working in it and wiped it down with a dirty towel.

I'm hoping Capitol Subaru can right this wrong because I am very disheartened. I was planning to take my car in for reoccurring maintenance at Capitol Subaru, but now I will look elsewhere. If you don't want your clear coat scratched up, I highly advise avoiding servicing your car here.

Bought my Outback 6 years ago. I stop taking my car for regular maintenace for a while because of not so good customer service.
I decided to take my car back to the dealer this time hoping things change. And i am so happy to have Javier. He's helpful and he respond to my text.

This is the worst experience I've ever had dealing with any business! I hate to call people incompetent but I can't think of any other word. I'm only writing this to warn others about this shady business.

A year ago I bought a used car. I had just moved back to California and had not owned a car in many years but assumed a dealership would handle most of the paperwork. Wrong! Fast forward a year later and I need to renew the car registration in my name. I found out from the DMV that Capitol Subaru started the ownership transfer but never completed it. I talked to my bank and found out they had been sending letters to Subaru to get the title but they never received it from them. I've called Subaru many times and each experience is a mix of excuses and lies, I can't even trust anything they say. They tell me they will call back and never do. They said they would go to the DMV to get temporary tags then later said they had to come back because of not being able to pay the DMV?! Who goes to the DMV without money?? I don't hear anything from them but I call again and finally talk to a manager who tells me Subaru doesn't have the title so they had to request a duplicate from the DMV which could take 3-4 weeks. They said DMV isn't giving out temporary tags right now. Tomorrow I have to spend more time and stress contacting the DMV to confirm if that's even true because they've lied so many times. Keep in mind that the registration has expired so I can't drive the car. I can't drive to work, the grocery store, or even go to Capitol Subaru to get answers from them. They knew all this but kept lying and making excuses. Please be careful when dealing with this place. I would highly recommend buying your car from another place so you're not stuck like me not even being able to drive your own car.

I'm planning to report Capitol Subaru to BBB and talking to my lawyer about my options.

I had an amazing experience, I came from Texas to buy a car and I got it. Jay Cao helped me on the car and Edwin in finance helped me so much and worked with a lot.
