Candlewood Suites Savannah Airport

Bed was too hard, room was too hot, shower sucked. I will not be going back.

The representative was very accommodating and understanding. This hotel was unpleasant to the point that we could not stay! The rooms smelled like smoke and pets. The parking seemed reasonable. We decided to cancel our reservations.

The property itself was very poorly kept. The rooms were dated and not the most clean. We stayed here as a halfway point heading out on our vacation travels and had booked the hotel for our return trip however as soon as we checked in and got to the room the first thing we did was cancel our return reservation. Would not recommend staying here to anyone.

I enjoyed my stay very much! My husband was working out of town & this is the hotel they put him up in. It was so nice having a 2 burner stove so I could cook for him & a dishwasher. The staff was very pleasant & accommodating. Free washers & dryers also very convenient. Not to mention it's so close to so many stores & restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

Check in was easy, check was even easier. Greeted the moment I stepped into the lobby. Room was comfy and clean. Bed a little rough but very manageable.

We checked in but could not stay because we could not stand the chemical smell in the room. It reminded me of the heroin I used to analyze at work. This smell is disgusting - mildewy old lady deodorizer burned into my sinuses - I could not imagine sleeping in there!
Also, the room was not clean: carpet was damp, dirt on the floors, in the corners, grease around the edges of everything in the kitchen. The bathroom door was swollen by water damage and would not close. Then we saw a cockroach carcass under the sink and that was it. We noped outta there.
The gal at the front desk tried to charge us for the 30 minutes it took to get our stuff upstairs, inspect the room, book another hotel, and get out stuff back to the car. Really?? Ugh. Never again, Candlewood.
