Candlewood Suites Kalamazoo

I stayed here for 5 months while working in town. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was helpful and very nice. Especially Heather, she went above and beyond to make our stay great. She was always available no matter what time of night we were there. She even organized a Thanksgiving dinner for those of us who were working and away from our families for the holiday. Thanks Heather for making our stay worthy of 5 stars.

Big Room There was a weird smell initially when I walked into the room each time, and there were bugs in my room... Also, housekeeping never brought me clean towels... But, the room looked nice and was big

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. I have noted your issues as to handle them with the appropriate staff. Housekeeping is weekly as we are an extended stay. Towels are always available at the front desk.

I was able to move to the first floor when a room came available

Out of all the travel I've had to do over the years working on the road I can easily say this hotel met expectations. They had a clean room, air/heat worked as I wanted. Full amenities was a nice bonus. Worth the price.

They let us check in early which was nice room was clean bed was so so first night was good but the 2nd woke up very sore. Towels were rough we enjoyed the amenities I would definitely recommend

This hotel was comfortable and clean. Great water pressure clean shower and friendly staff make this place a good stop.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before and always enjoyed my stay. This time however I was very disappointed. The bed was sunken in and looked like they put some type of foam topper to offer more support. Unfortunately that did not fix the problem. The sheets had hair on them and I do not believe they had been washed.
The heater/air unit was very dirty and looked and smelled in need of a deep clean and filter change. This made the room smell musty.

Our room smelled like smoke and the bathroom floor was sticky and smelled like urine.

Very clean room and friendly staff, only thing i was a little disappointed with was the options hotel promote to order food to room with Jet's Pizza, when i called them they told me they didn't deliver at that time, but i saw Pizza Hut did deliver, so maybe some more options with numbers to local pizza or eating places for guests would help
