Please READ CAREFULLY before you'll choose this school.
Those, who wrote positive reviews, probably managed to get to Spain and attend the classes.
I've paid for the intensive Spanish course in December,2019.Because of my bad medical condition, I couldn't go to Spain and have been asking Camino Barcelona to refund my money since February 2020 (before pandemic).

I wrote and called them infinite times,telling that I need my OWN money back for medical treatments and operation.They just blocked my number. They have never responded to me untill I asked several close to me people to call them directly from different numbers and ask for refund. 7 months later, I managed to get just one third from the total amount I've paid.After that they just stopped replying to me.

As I see from the negative reviews,I'm the lucky one who got at least some money. This shouldn't be normal.I'm just wondering...where is money of all people that you scammed? How such organizations as you can work in educational sector?

Update, November 2021.Camino still didn't return the money. As my review is getting popular,please guys keep in mind about refunds.

Update, January 2023. Fortunately,I've received the last installment of refund in May 2022, and that's why I'm changing my review from one to two stars.

Overall, it took more than 2 years to get the full refund from Camino. I bet if there was no such pressure from me and my friends, it's unlikely that I'd receive any money back??????? Though the school seems quite popular,it should reconsider the refund policy and following procedures to avoid such unpleasant experience.

Dear Altana, Thank you for your review. We appreciate your efforts and your time to re-publish your review again. For the sake of anyone who can read it, we would like to emphasize the following: 1. You never attended Camino Barcelona school and never even made an attempt to apply for your visa in your country (Russia); 2. Your review is about the period when the companies like ours (tourism-dependent) suffered the deepest ever crisis because of Covid-19. Many language schools went bankrupt and never refunded anything they owed to the students. Camino Barcelona, on the contrary, made its way through and refunded all of the fees to all its students. This is because we care about every single client, and we make any refund that is justified, in the earliest possible time. And the pandemic could not prevent us from doing that. 3. You have updated your review several times already, to make it on top of the other reviews. The last update was almost 1 year after you had already received your full refund, and in that version you ask us to change our refund policy despite of the worldwide economic crisis. Probably not the fairest way to use the Google review tool (which should rather reflect company's performance within the limits of what the company is really in control of). Thus, as a counter proposal, we would also kindly ask you to reconsider your use of Google reviews in the future, so that other companies do not have similar inconveniences as ours. Despite the above factors, we must state that we are happy that you have received back 100% of the paid fees, and so did all the other students who booked our school but could not (due to Covid or personal reasons) attend their courses at Camino. This crisis has been extremely difficult for both clients and businesses, and we are glad in our case we managed to fulfil our duties till the end. We believe this explains why Camino is so popular in Barcelona, as you pointed out correctly in your review. Best wishes from all Camino Team!

BEST SPANISH SCHOOL! I attended Camino Barcelona last summer for 3 weeks and I absolutely loved the whole experience! First of all the staff is SO HELPFUL they respond to all your emails to help you arrive to Spain safely. Teachers are so friendly and the school has tons of activities. Also the accommodation is safe and comfortable. Overall I've had a great experience and I'd recommend this school to anyone who is looking to improve their Spanish

Best place for learning Spanish in Barcelona! I already did a spanish course 3 times. It is the perfect place to start your time in Barcelona, to meet new people, to connect and learn the language. Also the quality is really high & the teachers are really good. I studied Spanish from B1 to B1. I would really recommend the place.

Llevo 7 meses estudiando en Camino Barcelona y estoy muy satisfecho. Empecé como principiante, ahora ya estoy estudiando en el nivel B2. Me encanta el ambiente agradable en la escuela, los métodos y la calidad de la enseñanza son los mejores.

After working almost 40 years (!) at NBC in New York City, I retired from my job. Wanting to undertake a major life change, I decided to move to Europe and study a new language. I settled on Spain.

I’ve always loved Barcelona, and so I thoroughly researched a lot of Spanish language classes in the city and decided on a year-long program at Camino. What really caught my eye, as I looked online, was the school’s central location in the Eixample neighborhood, the rotating start date of most classes and the price. It also looked like a HECK of a lot of fun!

I knew no one in Barcelona and, given I would be moving away to a foreign county for a year, I thought it important that I had not only a purpose while living there (learning Spanish) but also access to a social life. Camino did not disappoint! There are teacher-led activities seven days a week, so if I am ever feeling like I am getting a bit homebound isolated, I can just step out with my classmates and get acquainted with not only Barcelona/Catalonia but with students from all over the world!

As far as the classes themselves go, the teachers are friendly, attentive, sweet and really know their stuff. Almost all classes are small so there is individualized attention, and if you just aren’t getting something or are stuck, there is an afternoon club where you can go in and get all of your questions answered. It’s pretty amazing.

BOTTOM LINE — I attended Camino for a full year and then returned to the States for the Holidays. After about three weeks back at home, I signed up for YET ANOTHER YEAR with Camino!! HA!

Barcelona and this school is now my home away from home, and I am POSITIVE it will become yours also!! Hope to see you / meet you there THIS YEAR!

Hola! Such a wonderful school! I've taken a semi-intensive course which makes it possible to combine work and study (which is important in my case). All lessons are full of fun and conversation. The school also offers after-study activities which I found absolutely amazing. And many special thanks to mi profesora de español Noelia! Her lessons are always plenty of fun and very useful at the same time!

I previously tried different language school in Barcelona but Camino is so much better. They use their own method that I think works very well. The school also doesn't require you to buy a book for each level. I enjoyed learning from all the teachers I had so far and also great after school activities lead by very knowledgable teachers.
