This is not the Cadillac Dealership it used to be. I took my car to get serviced, and it was there at least 2 days before it was even checked. I had to call more than once to find out what was going on. My car ended up being there a week. (No loaner was offered, and I spent A LOT of money ) I have been going here for years because I expect a certain level of service from Cadillac. I hope it gets better. I will probably take my car elsewhere in the future.

I bought a brand new Cadillac Lyriq at this dealership 12 days ago. I set everything up over the phone two days before we went to pick it up. It’s two hours from my house. I am a special needs Mom and am on a tight timeline to get there and get home before our nurse leaves for their shift end. I asked that the car be fully charged so we could make it home. I expected to be there for no more than an hour. When we arrived… nothing was ready. The car was still wet from being detailed and had only 20% charge. We had to wait on paperwork and no one even offered to go over the car options or charging instructions. It was terrible. We were almost two hours getting out with only just enough charge to get home. When I got home, they had not left the factory provided charging cables or adapters in the car. After numerous calls and promises to overnight them, we still don’t have them. The car is dead in my driveway. I’ll make my first payment before I can drive the thing. I’m beyond angry. This dealership is awful. Buy your new Cadillac anywhere but here.

I have a 2023 Cadillac XT6, the first time I wanted to experience this place, but I was really disappointed, because my car had a noise underneath and the repair team found the cause and recorded a video to let me know and said I needed to fix a few more things, the total cost was more than $1000. They kept my car for 10 days, but when I came to pick it up, the noise was still there and I called to talk about the problem, the manager told me to bring the car in for another 4-5 days and forced me to rent a car without an apology. I feel sorry for a reputable company that has employees who do that in an industry that requires honesty and ethics. In my opinion, customers do not save money for their own needs. I hope everyone will consider when coming to this place.

Have worked with Keith Harvey, the GM in the past and he puts his people first. When he moved to Charlotte to run this dealership I was super excited for him. I had a Wagoneer and he showed me an Escalade and I was sold. Was a top tier experience from the salesman I worked with to the finance team. Gave me a fair trade in value for my Jeep and made it happen for our families budget.

I recently purchased a GMC Yukon from Cadillac of South Charlotte on January 25th, and my experience has been deeply disappointing.

Within 5 hours of leaving the dealership, the check engine light illuminated. Following the salesman’s advice, I returned the vehicle on January 27th, only to be informed that it required a new thermostat, which was out of stock with no estimated availability. The repair was quoted at $750, with an agreement to split the cost. After a week without any updates, we choose to have the repair for under $150, promptly resolving the issue. We chose to address this promptly because the faulty thermostat caused the cooling fan to run continuously after shutting off the vehicle and disrupted the operation of the heating and air conditioning systems.

Upon reviewing the sales documentation, I discovered charges for PermaPlate and Footprint Protection—products that were never discussed or disclosed during the sales process. This lack of transparency is particularly concerning, especially since I explicitly stated that I did not want any additional coverages. The salesman only discussed two additional coverage options: a drivetrain and tire warranty. He quoted prices higher than those listed in the final paperwork and made no mention of the PermaPlate or Footprint coverages. I have contacted the companies associated with the undisclosed add-ons—PermaPlate and Footprint Protection—to request a refund. I am awaiting their response and hope for a prompt resolution.

I am also questioning the thoroughness of the dealership’s inspection process. The vehicle was missing the washer fluid cap (which they replaced) and two tire valve stem caps (which I replaced). After driving the vehicle for a week, I noticed a rumble strip-like feeling at certain RPMs, indicating potential issues with the transmission or torque converter. This suggests that the vehicle may not have undergone the rigorous inspection process they touted.

This experience has left me questioning the dealership’s integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. I hope Cadillac of South Charlotte addresses these issues to prevent future customers from encountering similar frustrations.

I did not have a good experience at this facility. I have visited three times, and each time, the front desk staff has been unfriendly. Mazda needs better customer service at the front desk—staff members seem more focused on charging customers than on explaining the services being provided. As customers, we expect clear communication since we don’t have the same knowledge as mechanics to understand potential car issues. While MazdaUSA is a great company, I recommend visiting a different facility for better service.

Camden, my Sales Rep, made my purchasing process seamless and an enjoyable experience. He, along with Joanna, Greg, and the remaining team members, helped me understand the associated costs/fees with my purchase and were very patient as I explained my needs. My husband and I tried working with two other businesses but it wasn’t the same. Cam, et al., made it hard for us to leave Cadillac/SC! My family and I highly recommend Cam for your future Cadillac purchases. We look forward to working with him in the future. He is a gem!!!
