Add ReviewIt took three weeks for what was supposed to be a simple recall and oil change. The oil change and fuel injector cleanings were fixed right away. However, the recall involving the computer module crashed the computer system three times during the first day. The program error messages were unknown by the available crew and had to contact the GM service portal for assistance but provided me with a new loaner vehicle to use until mine was fixed. The process took 3 weeks due to poor communication between the dealership and the GM specialists. Multiple conversations were held between the dealership and specialists with no success in diagnosing the problem. About 2 weeks into this situation, on the dealership's recommendation, I called the GM corporate customer service department to place a service ticket about the problem. Finally, corporate sent a service specialist to the dealership to diagnosis the problem and determined that a new computer module would fix the problem. Of course, those were on back order with an unknown delivery time. My service techs Angel and Michael pushed for a new module due to how long the vehicle was out of service and were able to get it delivered the next Tuesday of week 3. They then brought my suburban to my work place to trade vehicles the next evening. I have no real complaints about Speck Motors, but believe GM Corporation needs to reevaluate how they treat their dealerships when problems occur. I understand that having a phone tree is helpful for diagnosing many problems, but for more complicated situations, a faster means of communication would be beneficial.Report
Worst service ever! My daughter bought an EV.from them. Battery is bad, they won't replace, lights don't work, they won't fix, heater went out, they won't fix. They won't even help us find a dealership who can fix.Relatively new vehicle. Very disappointed. Buy your vehicles elsewhere.Report
