For the first time in my life I can say that I actually had a pleasant experience purchasing a new car. I always buy new vehicles; usually the sales people are great but the managers are rude, condescending and/or high pressure. Then I have to sit down with Finance while they try to brow beat me into buying extra stuff.

I negotiated with Scott Thurn via email. We agreed on a price for a vehicle and I drove up to finalize the deal. While I was there I decided I might want a vehicle in a different color and with different options than what we agreed on. He went above and beyond to help me get what I want, even driving different cars up JUST so I could compare colors. He was friendly the entire time I was taking to make up my mind. Didn't badger me or look upset even once. I ended up taking home a vehicle I absolutely love because of his willingness to take the extra time to help find me the car I wanted.

Then I met with Alex in Finance who helped me with the credit application and to decide how many years I want to finance the car. She explained the extra warranties and safeguards I could buy for the car without making me feel I want to run for my life. Then she called me while I was driving home to inform me I actually qualified for a lower interest rate than I initially thought which would help reduce my loan payments.

This is an A+ team. I definitely recommend C&S and will buy my next car there as long as this one holds up to the standards I expect from a Subaru (and if I'm not dead by then).

Would not buy a Subaru from this dealer. Paid $1000 non refundable for them to find me a car. They traded Foresters with Grand Subaru in Chicago and transported my car from Chicago to Iowa - not on a tow bed, but via joy ride from Chicago to Iowa. The $1000 was just to "search" for a car. Not for proper transport.

Brand new forester dies in my garage 2 weeks in. Had to push the car out and take the battery to autozone to recharge. Took the battery in to C&S requesting a new battery. Their service tech said he was not surprised the battery died. He says these new cars have so much tech, if you leave your lights on for five minutes, it’ll die on you. Asked for a new battery since it was a brand new car. When the battery dies, it loses a part of its life. They refused and said nothing was wrong.

I left a review of my experience and the manager said to come in to see what they can do to help. I brought the car back in, they tested again, and refused to give me a new battery or to do anything. Waste of a trip since I live 2 hours away. My car battery has died 6 times in the last 2 years - eventually dying in the middle of Chicago traffic during a traffic back up. I took it in to GRAND SUBARU in Chicago and they immediately swapped the battery out for free on warranty.

I've been back to Grand a couple times to have them check on my car. Service has been great each time and they thoroughly explained what was going on with the car; whereas C&S simply said there was nothing they could do and that it's expected for a brand new car to have mechanical issues after spending $33k on a new car.

C&S' service is trash. Grand Subaru is just 4 hours away. If you can make the trip, go to Grand.

C&S is a good dealership. I have been there to buy a new Subaru twice. No issues. Great people!!

The service and attention the best of the best, my excellent buying and selling experience, the quality of my car can only be defined as the car of my dreams, and I recommend it so much to people who speak Spanish that they can approach C&S Subaru, they have no excuses for anyone only solutions

Excellent sales process and personel

Good customer service in the sales department. Our sales rep was very helpful in locating the car we were looking for. He explained all the features and took the time to show us everthing before we left the lot. We are very happy with our new Suaru.

Clearly people who do not speak English, we are afraid to approach to make a deal to buy a new car, but I want to thank all the help that was given to me in the purchase of my first Subaru, I am really excited about this car, and grateful to Scott and his entire work team in C&S car co., we did the whole procedure through email and when we got to pick up my car they treated me as part of the family 100% recommended

They changed my oil, rotated my tires and perfomed an alignment as well as a 15,000 mile check-up
