Butech was established in 1985 and became the leading innovator in the design and supply of scrap choppers with a patented helical cutting action which results in a quiet operation and increased knife life and shears for all types of coil processing lines to handle ferrous and non-ferrous material. The flying, cut-to-length and crop shears include the patented “auto gap control” which improves knife life and minimizes burr.

Butech manufactures single & double stage metalform choppers to transform bulky, stamping, punching, laser and burning metalform scrap into valuable, dense, chopped scrap.

Butech's product line includes various designs of extrusion presses in capacities from 100 UST to over 14,000 UST. Butech's in-house engineering department, manufacturing facility and experienced field technicians provide one of the most comprehensive single sources for all the needs of your coil processing operation.
