We called on a Sunday (noonish); and, the repairman told us he was on another call & stated he would be here as soon as he finished. He was at our home within the hour. It took him about an hour or so and we had cooling.

He was extremely concerned about our dilemma while being professional. He explained everything up front with reference to service charge. As well as, he explained that was wrong prior as he went along.

What could have been a disastrous situation/day, turned to be a pleasant day. All because of the serviceman's response, reassuring attitude and professionalism.

Butcher has been #1 in my book for 20 years. Then Mr. Butcher donated to a non-profit an air condition unit because they had no money in the budget for the unit that was stolen.

He has passed down to his employees the same compassion. I recommend Butcher Air Conditioning to everyone. They are community oriented and their pricing is fair. Their service is AWESOME.

My 93 yr old neighbors, 1 yr old Trane AC blew a coil yesterday. Called for technician to come out. Was told couldn't do anything because wait on part is 3 weeks....3 weeks for a 92 year old widow who lives alone and whose children live out of state to go without an ac. Did not offer any window units or anything besides to pay more money and buy a new unit to replace a 1 yr old still under warranty. My neighbor has been a customer for 40 years and still didn't matter. No regard for her what so ever. The right thing to do would have been for them to write off the cost of the new unit to keep an old women comfortable in her home and keep a good customer. But, welcome to the new world. Such a bad message. I will never, ever buy anything from this company and will let my friends and family know how this was not handled properly.
