We have been using Budget Lawn care for few years now but with the recent experience i can say we will not be using them anymore.
The crew came and pulled out all my expensive plants from my flowerbed thinking those are weeds. These plants are good smelling ones which also had a 15 inches mint included. They also left my yard serviced incomplete.
Manager,Bethany initally agreed to wave of the service charge and payment for the plants and destruction caused. She was supposed to follow up but did not. I waited for a 1.5 weeks and reached her. She denied all the conversations we had and told me i misunderstood. She made me feel that i was extracting money for no reason. When i asked her to replace plants instead of giving me my money back she replied strongly that she would only credit the amount that they charged to service my yard. They would not owe anything for the plants neither would they come and complete the service. If i needed the service to be completed I would have to pay $130 . I am no longer going too use them
I used Budget Lawn Care in 2019 but canceled my services in the fall, because my grass was simply not growing. I tried to get them back in 2020 and waited too late and they were all booked up. I was so sad. I had to go with another lawn company that was nowhere near as punctual and responsive. Not professional at all. Learned my lesson quickly! I was able to sign up this year 2021 and I won't be canceling my services in the fall as before, but allow them to come monthly instead of bi weekly, to keep up with things. Never had an issue. Always came when they should. Always locked up my yard responsibly after they were done and whenever I had additional services that were needed, they were quoted without overcharging. This is the only company I want to use for my lawn care.
A friend of mine referred me to the horrible company last year. She had just started using their service and was pleased. Fast forward to this year and both of us are without a lawn care service. I should have known to check the reviews on Yelp but my friend is usually good a picking good companies so I didn't check Yelp until today and the reviews there seemed to be more consistent with what I experienced today than the ones on Google.
I was sent an email by this company notifying me of when my service would resume. The date was supposed to be April 14, 2020, which I thought was kind of late since we have been getting lots of rain. I understand the Covid situation and all, but I do not understand what's the hold up. When I questioned her about it she told me the crews were behind due to severe overgrown lawns. However, that gives the company no reason to "no show." There are options like emailing customers updates etc. I even called yesterday to confirm with Christina that I was on the schedule then no one showed up to mow my lawn. I left a voicemail and it went unanswered! I called back the next day to see if they would honor their agreement and she informed me that a crew was coming this morning and no one showed up. I called to cancel and she was very nonchalant and didn't seem interested in trying to make things right. So my advice to anyone, stay away from this company. They are very unprofessional and callous! I even called other companies and some of them admitted they are also experiencing a shortage of workers due to work vista issues etc., at least they were honest and upfront unlike Budget!
Dishonest workers. Do not use them. I paid for lawn care and bagging the clippings. They don't bag them and did not say anything to me bout not bagging then when I complained they asked me if I wanted the 2 to 3 dollar credit for No bagging twice. If I didn't bring it up they would still be charging me for bagging the clippings. Will not ever use them again.
Doing the job no one likes doing! Dealing with bugs. Don't want to worry about 'em? Pick these guys and they will take care of the rest. I enjoy dealing with professionals over the phone and they make sure customers are truly happy with the service.

Awesome service. Brittany is always extremely helpful when I call. One time I had raked all my leaves up after the winter and they happened to come by the morning after. They bagged all my leaves without me asking prior to a mow. Can't recommend enough.
We normally don't answer fliers, but we got one from Budget saying they'll do next-day. We signed up over the internet and interacted with exactly 0 people to schedule - it was awesome. Our grass was long enough to house rodents of unusual size, but they cut that down and then some. Good communication and follow-through on what we requested as well.
