Ethically sourced jewelry store with excellent customer service. Knowledgeably staff members were able to answer questions in depth and able to help find the perfect pieces within budget.

Making an appointment is definitely recommended. The one on one time with Elisha was wonderful and really helpful . We were able to find the jewelry we wanted without feeling pressured or judged.

By far the worst customer experience. The support reps are rude, provide false information and deflect without really providing a resolution.

Wonderful experience! I'm so happy knowing about their sustainable and conflict-free rings; plus, recycled metals are awesome.

I want to preface this story by saying I am not the easiest person to deal with, especially in a high stakes/time sensitive situation. The way that the Brilliant Earth San Francisco Staff took care of me is something that I'm going to be talking about for the rest my life.

I had been planning to propose throughout the entirety of 2021 and with all the craziness in the world, I didn't know if I wanted to push it back another year. I spoke to my significant other and she alluded to the fact that she was looking forward to something this year. The date I chose was Nov 7. By this time, it was already around Oct 10th. I had my partner do some research on what she was looking for in a ring, and I would then take those ideas and run with them to select a setting and stone on my own.

I stumbled upon Brilliant Earth. Their selection of stones and settings are nothing short of breathtaking, not to mention the online portal and filter is so easy to use, the customer service is available 24/7 to take care of you, and even on the phone they are so positive and accommodating.

What I thought I wanted in an engagement ring was something unique, never before seen, and stands out above all. Due to the small time window, high stress, and my impulsivity, I originally chose the "Blooming Rose" setting with a round high clarity diamond. After purchasing said ring, I proceed to carefully take screen shots of that ring and around four others that I thought my partner would like..... She liked the "blooming rose" the least. (In my case, this was a mistake, but in no way shape or form does that selection not gleam and glow like all the amazing choices.)

This was 11pm October 14th. If you could only see the sweat beading down my brow, my heart pounding with anxiety. I got on the phone with Brilliant Earth not even 4 hours after making the purchase, and they were so quick to help. I chose the proper setting and selected another diamond, but in my disarray I made another wrong selection. I didn't sleep that night.

The next day I went into the San Francisco location. Even though I made an appointment on the portal, I couldn't wait that long sitting in my anxiousness. As I mentioned, I walked in without an appointment, which I do not recommend. Despite this, I was greeted kindly by the reception and they were beyond accommodating to my situation. I spoke with Kelly and she jumped in to take care of me. Together we made sure that I selected the proper stone and ring.

After going home, I decided I wanted a different stone that held a numerical significance. I didn't sleep again and went back the next day only to have Kelly be just as kind and accommodating as the previous experience. At this point, I was being very difficult and probably a sleep deprived nervous wreck, yet her and Jeremy met my attitude with such poise and respect.

The arrival date of the ring was set for November 2nd, which was perfect since I was planning to leave San Francisco for San Diego on November 4th and propose on November 7th. On November 1st at 5 p.m. I received an automated email telling me that the ring was going to be delayed until November 9th.

Obviously that was not going to work. I was livid. How are you going to tell me less than 24 hours before the arrival date that's going to be delayed a week? I started making phone calls, and I went into the store multiple times during the next few days. Jeremy went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and assured me that my ring was their top priority. They were able to finish the ring in time and ship it to their San Diego location. I was able to pick it up on the 6th and still go through with the engagement plans.

In my opinion, Jeremy, Kelly and Brilliant Earth as a company set the gold standard for customer service. They are quite simply the best. Do yourself a favor and come here for all your ring and stone selections. You will not be disappointed.

I had placed my order 3 months back , in three attempts ( and still ongoing) I haven't gotten my ring as I wanted it . first time the size was wrong , then the inscription was too small , now there's no inscription at all , hopefully the 4th time they'll finally get it right . No priority customer service either , even after 3 failures they tell me that they can't guarantee a simple inscription correctly in 2-3 weeks . Avoid going to this store if you want a ring on time .

Really like the rings that we got but the staff isn't always very helpful or knowledgeable.
