Dr. Melanie Kemmerer is from a city of small town charm two hours west of Branford called Atlantic Beach, Fl, where her parents still reside. She received her dental degree shortly after graduating with both a bachelor's and master's degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition, all from the University of Florida. While in dental school, Dr. Kemmerer was a member of the American Student Dental Association and was an active participant in many volunteer opportunities, including Give Kids a Smile, an annual campaign to promote children's oral hygiene, and being an organizational leader for We Care, an organization that serves underprivileged members of Alachua County. In addition to providing excellent dental services to her patients, Dr. Kemmerer strives to support the local community during the Children's Dental Health Awareness Campaign.

Dr. Kemmerer is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Alachua County Dental Association and the Suwannee Chamber of Commerce. She also serves in a leadership position for the Rotary Club of Branford.

Dr. Kemmerer is married to Larry Clement. They have a beautiful son, Noah, who she adores to share adventures with. Dr. Kemmerer met Larry in high school and were married shortly before she graduated from dental school. Larry also graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Food Science. Larry works in the food safety industry. Their family resides in Gainesville, FL.

Since all of their degrees have been earned from the University of Florida, it is not hard to imagine that they are diehard Gator fans, and they both bleed Orange and Blue.
