My experience with Contemporaries was smooth and easy. I reached out with my resume in late July and a month later, I had a job paying far more than I've been paid previously for similar work. After receiving an opportunity elsewhere, I left Contemporaries but I know that, if I hadn't found a new position, I'd still be working with them today as I can count on them to be prompt and help me find a placement that works for me!

If you're thinking of applying to contemporaries, do it! I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I had applied for over 200 jobs since graduating and was hearing absolutely nothing back. After sending my resume to contemporaries I received a call within 10 minutes, was put on assignment the next day, and was offered a permanent position a week later. I have worked with other temp companies before but this one goes above and beyond to find a job that they believe is a good match to your skillset. Overall, Donna and her staff are incredibly professional and were surprisingly supportive in my attempts to find employment, either with the company I was assigned to or with my own job pursuits.

Over the course of my 14 months employed with them, I worked 3 different assignments. I eventually gained permanent employment with the university I had been temping for. I was paid on a weekly basis (never delayed) and was also offered health insurance (although I waived it). They also offered me many opportunities to work at events to get extra money. If you are ready to work immediately and can follow up on emails/phone-calls, you should have no issues.
