BMW of Monrovia is the worst dealership ever. If I could, I would give them 0 stars. I leased a car about 3 weeks ago. Received my first statement and the amount is different from my contract. I emailed the document specialist, texted and called my salesperson but no response from anyone.

Also there was a mark on the back seat of the new car I was leasing and asked my salesperson to have it cleaned…didn’t think to check b4 leaving the dealership, assumed it was taken care of. Got home and the mark was still there…not happy to see that it wasn’t cleaned. See attached photo…

Another thing, I had a trade in…so BMW owes me a check…it’s been over 3 weeks…still have not received it! Contacted my salesperson and he never responded.

DO NOT BUY A CAR AT BMW OF MONROVIA!
Once you sign & take the car home…you can’t get a hold of anyone.

inquired about a vehicle from out of state and was surprised to find out after some back and forth that this dealership does not handle any out-of-state transactions. While I appreciate the quick response and polite communication, it would have been helpful if that policy was clearly stated upfront — especially since they ask for your zip code in the initial form. It would’ve saved everyone time. Just a heads-up for any potential out-of-state buyers.

I didn’t want to leave this review because one of the sales managers (Paul) was going to try and make my terrible experience “right”. So I purchased a new 2025 BMW M3 from BMW of Monrovia. I live in the San Diego Area but was willing to make the drive up north for this M3 because it was in the “chalk” color. I worked with the Freddy on moving forward on this purchase (he was good). When I finally made it up to Monrovia, I brought my wife and 7-month-old baby, I was told it was going to be a somewhat quick transaction. I looked at the car liked it but noticed it was sitting somewhat high, so I asked Freddy if the shipping blocks were removed. He assured me it was done when the car went through its inspection. I took his word for it and continued on with the transaction. The car had an add on called “phantom footprint”, which is a sticker they put on and it leaves behind an ultraviolet readable footprint and provides some insurance to deter theft. Couldn’t negotiate it off even though it seems to be useless. Oh well that was an extra $200. However, my gripe with this is how crooked they put these stupid stickers on, I spent over 80k for a car with visible crooked stickers. It bugged me so much I removed most of them. Now after Freddy helped me, they had some finance lady help me and she was just plain rude because I wouldn’t accept any extended maintenance warranty. So, we move forward, and she says someone from finance will help us, so we wait. Over an hour and a half had passed and my baby is very fussy at this point. We aren’t being helped so I go up to Paul and he asks me if I’m done with finance; I tell him no we haven’t even started. So, then we wait for him to get someone to finish our deal. At this point I’m over it and contemplating leaving and buying another M3 from BMW of San Diego. We finally get into finance and the other lady doing our finance asks me for the downpayment. I brought about 8k in cash, so she takes it to get counted. My wife goes to the bathroom and hears the lady that was trying to get us to buy the maintenance plan joke about our money being fake with her coworkers. This irritated me. However, the lady comes back and tells me I’m done, and I state no I’m not. We haven’t filled my preapproval check. She tries to assure me we don’t need to, so I tell her no I bank with Navy federal it says on the check to fill it out, I need to sign, and she needs to call the number for a security code. She then talks to her coworkers and fills out the check, and I sign. If I didn’t speak up the check wouldn’t have been cashed and I would have been stuck with BMWs awful interest rate they were trying to give me. Fast forward I have the car and am doing the drive home and noticed that the suspension is rough and bouncy. I make it home and drive it the next day. It drives like crap, so I look at the suspension and notice a blue block, it’s the shipping blocks I mentioned, and they didn’t remove them. I had to go to my local BMW to remove them. I called Freddy and let him know and Paul calls me in order to make it “right” so I tell him I want the M performance lowering kit because my experience was the worst I had ever experienced. I have been treated better and had a much better experience at Honda and Toyota and those cars were 1/3 and a ½ of what this car cost. He stated hell see what we can do, so weeks had passed so I kept messaging him, I received replies like the GM is gone or he’d been gone. They got my hopes up because we were speaking about who would install the part, but eventually the communication died all together. I haven’t heard back since FEB 18. And now I’m leaving this review to warn anyone wanting to purchase a vehicle from them especially one as special and pricy as an M3. This dealership shows poor attention to detail on all levels, not what I would expect from BMW. This dealer tried to make it sound like they would take care of me because I am a veteran, but they clearly did not. I would never buy another car from them, and I urge you to look elsewhere.

I’ve been trying to get an ETA on my bmw cpo warranty refund but when I call and talk to someone they place me on a hold for over an hour multiple times now. I submitted all the proper forms for the cancellation over 2 months ago now. Just a shady dealer all around. I just want to talk to the finance department and get this resolved.
