Add ReviewMy wife and I had a great experience buying a gently used Ascent from Villages Subaru with our sales associate, Adam… No pushy sales tactics, good communication, and a great vehicle at a reasonable price. Couldn’t ask for more.Report
Would recommend and will use again! Cheers!
I can't say enough amazing things about my experience at Subaru Villages! From start to finish, it was an absolute dream come true. I love my brand-new 2025 Subaru Impreza, and I couldn’t be happier!Report
A huge shoutout to my fantastic sales team, Theodore Walker and Michael Keegan — these two made the whole process smooth, stress-free, and actually FUN! They were incredibly knowledgeable, extremely patient, and genuinely excited to help me find the perfect car within my budget. They took the time to answer all my questions, walked me through everything, and made sure I was 100% confident in my decision.
The whole team at Subaru Villages was friendly and welcoming, making me feel like family from the moment I walked in. No pressure, no gimmicks — just top-notch service and a true passion for helping customers. If you’re looking for an amazing dealership with incredible people, this is the place to go!
Thank you, Theodore, Michael, Katie in Finance and the whole Subaru Villages team — you’ve earned a customer for life!
I swore I would never go back there after my bad experience buying the vehicle, and the inability to ever use my Subaru Advantage Plan. After getting numerous coupons I weakened and went in today, scheduled an appointment, to use a 59.95 coupon for oil and filter change. It turns out they're monthly special is oil and filter change for 59.95, so I'm not sure if I use the coupon or not but the price was $59.95. I also had a coupon for a free tire rotation which I was told they would accept and do. An hour and 45 minutes later I'm told it's done. Oh, they did come and tell me that they were not going to do the tire rotation cuz it didn't need it, even though I wanted it done, I bought new tires and I was told to have them rotated at 6,000 mi, they would not do it. So then I'm told the amount to pay 75.88. how can that be I ask???Report
I have the coupon for 59.95, well there's charges for the mat that they put in there so they don't dirty your floor and I don't know what else shop supplies and then of course disposal. I'm sure they didn't do the rotation cuz they weren't going to make any money off of that they also wanted to replace the cabin filter which I just had done a few months ago and I see the price quoted is 5880 for that I go online and I see OEM filter for my car at 19.95. So my advice would be to stay away EVERYtime I go there I have problems. My friends have been told that if I go there again they are to commit me.
10/10 place, everyone was so kind and welcoming. My salesman D, was absolutely amazing I definitely recommend this branch.Report
The staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. Ricardo, the sales advisor who assisted me, helped me choose my vehicle and was proficient in answering my inquiries and providing quality customer service. Katie, the finance leader, was very helpful and considerate, and made buying my first vehicle a smooth process and pleasant experience. The general manager was very welcoming and personable as well.Report
DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP. They sold a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that had MULTIPLE problems and refused to show proof of inspection. After an inspection with another dealership multiple issues were found. They refused to fix the vehicle even with extended warranty.Report
Beware of Villages Subaru’s Lack of Integrity & TransparencyReport
I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) 2022 Subaru Forester Touring from Villages Subaru on December 27th, 2024, expecting a fully inspected, reliable vehicle. However, my experience was filled with misrepresentation, incomplete inspections, and a lack of integrity. Currently, I’m driving a loaner vehicle as I wait for repairs, but delays and lack of accountability suggest it may take even longer.
While the front desk staff was friendly, management failed to uphold Subaru’s CPO standards and take responsibility for serious inspection issues. Here’s what happened:
1. Deceptive CPO Inspection – AC System Was Never Checked
• After purchase, I experienced a loud AC noise. Villages Subaru claimed there was no issue, but Subaru Gainesville confirmed a legitimate AC failure. When I requested service history, Villages Subaru sent the CPO report from before my purchase, which showed the AC system inspection was never done, violating Subaru’s CPO standards.
2. No Proof of Post-Sale Repairs
• I requested proof of the alignment, AC flush, and tire replacements after purchase, as these were the issues I encountered and some were recommended by the mechanic. Instead, I was sent the pre-sale CPO inspection, which is irrelevant. If the work was completed, why is there no documentation? It shouldn’t take over 30 days—and counting—to provide this information.
3. Sold With Unsafe Tires – Forced to Pay Out of Pocket
• My vehicle had a slow tire leak from day one. A third-party mechanic found the tires were dangerously worn, and I had to pay for two new front tires on the spot. Villages Subaru then replaced the rear ones but refused to reimburse me for the front tires. Within just a short amount of time, I’ve already had to deal with ongoing issues—AC failure, tire problems, and more—that should have been addressed before the car was sold as “Certified Pre-Owned.”
4. Lack of Accountability & Poor Management
• Management, including the General Manager, failed to provide the requested documentation for repairs, offering excuses instead of transparency. The General Manager made a comment to me, saying, “We don’t deal with them, they’re not my people,” when I asked him to coordinate with the other dealership about a simple upholstery issue. While he did offer to pay for the repairs, making me handle everything on my own was ridiculous, especially after already dealing with so many hoops to jump through. I had to make multiple trips to the dealership, each taking about two hours one way, resulting in a total of four hours of wasted travel time.
5. Battery Issues & AC System in Pieces
• Subaru Gainesville found a potential battery issue that Villages Subaru missed, and my AC system was in pieces, with multiple components replaced. Villages Subaru ignored these issues.
6. Concern for the Senior Community
• Villages Subaru is located in a community with many senior buyers, and I worry that some may not realize they’re purchasing vehicles with hidden issues. If I hadn’t caught these problems early, I could have been stuck with expensive repairs.
7. Subaru Corporate Notified
• I’ve already contacted Subaru Corporate and am considering further action to prevent this from happening to others.
Final Thoughts: Buyers Beware
If you’re considering purchasing from Villages Subaru, proceed with caution. Do not assume their CPO inspections are legitimate. Demand written proof of all work before signing anything, and have the car inspected by a trusted mechanic.
Without an extended warranty, I’d be paying for repairs that should’ve been handled before the sale.
Thankfully, Subaru Gainesville addressed these issues professionally.
Bottom Line: Villages Subaru failed to meet Subaru’s CPO standards, misrepresented the vehicle, and refused to provide proof of repairs. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone seeking honesty and transparency.
Caution: Triple-check everything before buying from Villages Subaru, or better yet, take your business elsewhere.
WARNING!!!!! They charge 3% for payments by credit cardReport
I have a 2024 Ascent Limited I purchased in Orlando last year and was looking for a Service Department closer to the north part of The Villages. Based on the negative reviews regarding the 3% surcharge was enough alone to discourage me from going to Villages Subaru.Report
Add to it, the reviews regarding some of the sales tactics were also a turn off. The sales department methods, unfortunately, also reflect poorly the service department.
Chris was absolutely amazing. Went above and beyond what a salesman should. I’m so happy with my purchase and will be referring my friends.Report
