I'm not fond of people who don't keep their word. In this case, I had set an appointment for this morning to have my tires changed out. I got a confirmation and everything.Report
When I got there, the service manager was aggressive and rude, telling me that the service had been moved to another dealership, and a different time.
What's worse, he scolded me, and treated me like a child.
Funny thing, however. I was making a final decision on either buying a new Mazda CX-9 or a Chrysler Pacifica to replace my aging Nissan Quest. I thought I would try their service department out with a small project and see how I would be treated.
Looks like the Mazda gets the win.
A simple apology goes a long way with me. I didn't get that. What I got was a seemingly frustrated person who flipped his computer screen around, thrust his finger on the screen to show me I was crossed off their service list for today. "See, you're not in here?" he shouted.

From start to finish the Bodyshop gents really helped me out. They got me a rental car and had my vehicle fixed in four days. Once I picked it up it was like nothing ever happened.
