At Beech Brook, we believe all children deserve the chance to grow up in safe and healthy families with the support they need to reach their full potential. Yet, it's never been harder for children in our community to thrive. Many are struggling with mental health issues and the impact of abuse, neglect and other trauma, and far too many are living in poverty with daily exposure to violence and other toxic stress. Since 1852, Beech Brook has been continually evolving to meet the greatest needs of our community\ u2019s most vulnerable children and families. Today, as a leading behavioral health agency, we touch thousands of lives each year in Northeast Ohio through more than 40 programs, over 90 school partnerships, a strong foster care network and a range of innovative prevention and early intervention services at our Family Center.
