I am new to Tampa and on my way down from Maryland I had my car checked out at dealership - said I would need new brakes and rotors and a full tune-up coils and all. It was quite expensive. I found Bay Area Automotive Services online while searching for an independent shop close to my home. I am glad I chose this place! Ken did a complete inspection of my car and let me know I did not need new rotors (which are expensive). He could resurface and would cost a lot less! I also didn't need a full tune-up. My car takes coils instead of wires which are also expensive. Ken was very knowledgeable and explained to me the difference. I also did not need these replaced at this time. So all in all, I paid for new brake pads, resurfaced rotors and a tune-up as needed for my car. Talk about costing less! I may have not been able to find all the necessary regular places I need in Tampa yet, but I am very happy I found my mechanic. Thanks Ken & Theresa. D. FlowersReport
