About Barnett Chiropractic & Wellness

As a lifelong learner I have found myself exploring various aspects of health and healing. Growing up in rural Trinidad, I have seen and experienced both western and native medicine and healing. I arrived in New York with the intentions of becoming a medical doctor. However, as I looked around at the state of medicine I became less interested in becoming an MD. Fortunately, I found a friend who was an astute herbalist and natural medicine practitioner. There began my studies in health from a holistic standpoint. On my road to becoming a chiropractor, I have studied and been licensed as a massage therapist. I have studied and learned shiatsu, (acupuncture without needles). I completed my undergraduate work in nutrition at Pratt university. I learned to use essential oils and I the Raindrop Technique as another modality for healing. As a chiropractor I have studied various techniques that I use in my practice. Applied Kinesiology, a.k.a muscle response testing, which I use daily, includes nutrition and detoxification to bring a person back to health. My aim is to use whatever tool I have to do the most good for anyone who has entrusted their health with me. With that aim in mind, I continue to learn and grow. To you I offer my best.
