The story of Baleada express began in Beaufort South Carolina. A determined couple started selling Honduran street food outside a Latino grocery store. More people began requesting their platanos, baleadas, and tacos. Their stand quickly became a tented area, and in 2009 Baleada Express opened in Bluffton.

Our signature hand crafted tortillas, aguas frescas, and pickled onions have become a Lowcountry staple. Precious cheese is imported from Honduras to ensure authenticity in every bite. Soups are made with fresh, local seafood in addition to sawtooth cilantro and other secrets. When you are feeling peckish, try a steak, whole fried tilapia or generous pork chop. And don't worry, we are kid friendly so you'll also find chicken fingers and fries on our menu.
