I am disappointed and upset. Dr. Rajaj’s practice have great reviews and I was looking forward to plans to have a lipoma removed from my forward. Prior to scheduling consultation, I thought I had asked all the right questions. When informed that they do not file insurance nor would this procedure be covered by insurance, I specifically asked the cost and was quoted $750 with the consultation costing $150. If I chose to have the procedure, the consultation fee would be applied to the total cost. I was also required to provide a credit card over the phone prior to appointment being told that if I did not provide a 24 hr cancellation, my card would be charged the $150. This morning, we made the trip to OKC, consultation was a total of 5 minutes and I decided to have the procedure BUT when the nurse came in to go over the contract, I was shocked to see the total price was $1500! All their office could say was I am sorry but there was no accountability for the incorrect quote over the phone nor refunding my $150 five minute consultation. I feel like I was given false information whether intentionally or unintentionally and robbed of my hard earned money.Report
