Avalon School of Cosmetology

I had an excellent experience at my appointment. I had an eyebrow and eyelash tint done by Emma R. She was very professional and thorough. She created a comfortable and relaxing environment. I am very pleased with the outcome and will be going back!

I was a client here just a few weeks ago and I noticed something really unprofessional coming from the male teacher (short asian male). i saw he was very touchy and flirty with a few of the students. i even overheard him talking to one of the female students about meeting outside the school. it made me really uncomfortable. Very unprofessional and strange.

I got my hair cut today by Kassidy, and she did an amazing job about making me feel comfortable and heard. I had to bring my toddler with me because I didn't have a babysitter and she was really amazing about making me not stressed out and telling me how it was not a big deal :) because any mama would be stressed out having their kid at a hair appointment. She was super nice and sweet, I definitely plan on seeing her again when I go back to Avalon!

I had an amazing experience at Avalon Institute. I had a facial with Hailey L. It was the best facial. I felt very relaxed during the visit and left with a refreshed and glowing skin. The best part was the hand massage during the mask session!

I got my hair done by Andrea Vasquez. She dyed my hair and cut it. Looks fantastic!

MINDY the school director is so unprofessional. My friend wanted to join the aesthics program , because that what is she passionate about. When meeting with Mindy , she tried to convince her yo join the Cosmetology program, & then brought in another teacher to convince my friend to do the cosmetology program as well. They told my friend that " she didn't look like she could be a aesthetician" & that " the aesthetic program would be too hard for her & that she should do cosmetology instead" REPEATLY. She also said " don't let your parents decide for you", when that wasn't the case . This is my friends true passion !! They made my friend feel so bad about it , she literally cried. MINDY needs to be fired & the whole school staff needs to be under evaluation !!!!!

Just got my hair done by Kurstin and im in love with it!!! I got my hair dyed half blue half green and i cant get enough of it. 10/10 would want kurstin to do my hair again!!

I absolutely loved getting my hair done here! Kurstin did so amazing and her communication skills were great! We went from brown, to blonde, to an amazing cherry red. I'm in loooovee!!!
