Add ReviewI am so disappointed in the obfuscation from Lifestyle Clotheslines. I bought 3 lines and the lathes have warped and leached tannins in to my Frette sheets. They suggest that it is mould and they have referred this matter to their parent company in the UK who suggest that i "don't use the lines too often" to allow the wood to dry. I use the lines irregularly anyway and this is not the issue. They won't cover shipping if i return the lines. All in all this has been a very frustrating process and this is a very inferior product and they have not offered to replace the lathes which would have been simple and an easy solution months ago. So in frustration i advised Lifestyle that i would write a google review if they could not attend to my problem in a timely fashion. Attaching photos for your interest and i am happy to discuss this matter further.Report
Love the clothesline. Lifestyle was so easy to deal with. I was kept up date with the progress of my order at all stages. The installer was professional, polite and insiteful as to best place to install. Very smooth process, highly recommend Lifestyle Clotheslines.Report
Thank you Greg ( think was his name) was so helpful and got our order to us quickly and clothes line was everything we asked for. And to the delivery driver from Austral thank you also.Report
My Austral Addaline 35 clothesline, is SUPER and I love the space & versatility of the lines. I love the quality of the framework, the fact it's Australian made, has a great warranty, great value for money spent and it's so easy to install and use. Lifestyle Clotheslines made ordering easy and delivery not a problem. You can tell I'm VERY happy with my new purchase.Report
I do have a rotary..... BUT it's shaded in the winter and I prefer the options I have with the Austral wall mounted line. The rotary will eventually disappear. In hindsight I would have the clothesline installed for me, but Hubby being a handyman etc...... "not a problem lol" probably took longer than needed to. The tensioning of the lines could be better, BUT that's nothing to do with the clothesline. I LOVE my new clothesline and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to everyone. It's made hanging out the clothes much easier for me, as it's positioning get's more sun / breezes, & the clothes dry quicker. Do yourself a favour !!!! Christine Gardner.
Ordered a supreme 7 lath ceiling airer. Arrived damaged. Offered $27 refund (from $377 purchase) and told to repair it myself. Still laughing at the utter ridiculousness of it all. Extra star for the LOLs.Report
Absolutely love the clothes line, we needed a particular length and they were spot on, with the length, style and colour and so easy to install.Report
Great service and a pleasure to deal with.
Thanks Lifestyle.
NO Tasmanian delivery option, obviously Lifestyle Clotheslines doesn't think Tasmanian's need clothes lines. Pity, I had to cancel my $549 order (a 1.8x1.5m & 1.5x1.5 + a lowline) and all because of NO Tasmanian delivery option. The shopping cart even "error' coded the cart and stopped the checkout, go figure, business must be good to throw away $549. Such a pity, Looks like I'll continue shopping at Bunnings.Report
I believe your price to restring my clothesline for $195 is way over the top. I'm glad I did some research!! Sunni clotheslines quote was $88 including installation. Less than half the price. Come on guys at least try and be competitive instead of ripping off your customers.Report
Really excellent customer service. I had a situation where I needed the clothesline to be delivered to my place (as I would be home) however the installation to be at my mum's place at a later date. I was able to easily place my order online and then call to speak with someone who completely understood what I needed and it was done accordingly with no fuss. Email communication (with Elise) has been flawless.Report
Disappointed with the product I received. Gary recommended the Super 4. I queried the size and informed that the clothesline we have is large and that it needs to be enough for 6 people as we have tenants living at the back of the property. Gary ensured that it was going to be sufficient enough, however it is too small. I called them back and spoke to Vicky who advised that the only option is to upgrade and it will cost $30 plus an additional $60 for rewiring and $159 to have a contractor come out and perform the installation. I highly do not recommend purchasing from this business as they do not take responsibility for providing incorrect information about their products and will blame the customers.Report
