The firm's president is Gregory Peterson, MPA/JD, an experienced consultant on PR, marketing communications and public affairs. He is a principal in the “Mavens & Moguls†consulting network. A graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School, Gregory Peterson was Project Director at TED Conferences, head of Public Affairs at Biogen, and Director of Communications in a Governor's Office. He has served as a Trusted Advisor and “Thinking Partner†for leaders in a variety of fields.
Gregory Peterson's public relations career has been built on extensive studies in communications, public affairs, law and literature. As recipient of the Bush Leadership Fellowship, Gregory completed a master's degree at the Harvard Kennedy School. Gregory also completed the “Senior Leadership Programâ€Â at the Kennedy School and was a Fellow at the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs. Other specialized studies have included coursework in the Harvard Law School Program On Negotiations, the Harvard Medical School's “Risk Management & Communicationsâ€Program and the joint MIT-Harvard program: “Dealing With An Angry Publicâ€Â - to name just a few.Â
Early in his career, Gregory Peterson achieved accreditation (APR + ABC) from both the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)— and won numerous professional awards from each. Gregory Peterson also has held memberships in the Public Affairs Council and the National Investor Relations Institute.
