The addition of the Art Gallery to the print shop and studio offers a unique environment to the community. The gallery was first opened in 1998, exhibiting the work of APC founder, Ron Libbrecht. Ron has his BFA and MFA in Drawing/Painting from California State University Long Beach, with a Max Beckman fellowship to the Brooklyn Museum in between the two degrees. The gallery exhibits have since grown to include various other artists, bringing a greater variety of art to the community.
The studio is comprised of talented artists, designers and print makers that understand the digital environment. The graphics team creates and enhances the logos and illustrations needed for your printed materials while the fine art print station is supported by the expertise of Dina Djabieva. In addition to her skills as an artist, Dina also has a BFA in graphic arts and an extensive background in the arena of fine arts printing. Fine Art Prints are more than just ink on paper. This type of Archival printing is known as a giclee or fine art reproduction. This print process uses a digital image that is a scan or a photograph and re-creates the image with archival inks on archival paper or canvas. The finished product is a museum quality print that meets Fine Art Industry standards.
