Anthony captured great photos of our 3 generations at sunrise on Waikiki Beach. He was prompt, courteous, and listened to what we wanted. It was a very fun experience.

Anthony was absolutely AMAZING!!! He did our daughters senior pictures and he nailed it. He is very professional and has a great eye for detail!!! We will definitely hire him again and would recommend him for any photography event. Thank you Anthony!!!

Anthony took pictures of our family of 8. We were very happy with how quick he was and how great the pictures turned out! In 45 minutes he was able to capture everything we wanted - the family group, couple, kids together and individual shots. He quickly helped arrange the poses and paid attention to the little details like hair. When we finished, our 15-year-old (who was the unhappiest about having to get photos taken) said it was the quickest 45 minutes of his life! I’m very happy we did this. It was definitely worth it and I’d recommend him for anyone looking to have family pictures taken.

My star rating is not entirely based on my experience but rather the work that is displayed on the website. My experience and our end product was different. Please do not base your decision about this photographer solely on this review.
Anthony met us on time in a beautiful spot in Ko Olina on Oahu. The spot was about all that was beautiful. At the end of our session he just handed me the memory card from his camera and said these were ours. Typically that would be great because we had all the pictures but upon returning home and viewing them they were not reflective of the work we viewed on his website. They looked very posed and the backdrop looked fake, maybe due to the sun and weather that day. He didn’t listen to what we wanted, which was more candid photos of our families first trip to Hawaii. He put us in very posed positions and had a difficult time capturing the attention of our 2 and 5 year old. They’re 2 and 5 so that’s how it goes sometimes. We told him many times what we really wanted and were not given enough time to get those photos. What we ended up with was one photo we printed and the rest are still on the SD card. When he finally did take some of the photos we wanted we didn’t get many because we ran out of time.

Anthony, first of all, I in no way intended to question you as a person. To be clear, I have absolutely no hate for you whatsoever. I’m sure you are a wonderful human being, I want to make sure you know that. My problem was with our photos, not you. My kids are tough, and on a beach the last thing they want to do is sit still. I tried to communicate that during our session but a squeaky dog toy is not going to draw their attention when they are in the sand on a beautiful beach. I’m sorry if my review seemed harsh, I have edited it based on your response. My wife was disappointed because photos from our trip was something she wanted most, and she didn’t get any. Every day is different. Secret beach had a lot of people that day and we were also battling the sun and sprinklers from the nearby resort. The photos on your website are beautiful, that’s why we chose you, we just didn’t get many that we felt were reflective of your work that we reviewed prior to arriving in Oahu. Next time may be different. We plan to travel back next summer and would love the opportunity to “start over”. Peace and Aloha, I wish you the best good sir.

Aloha Everyone, It is unfortunate that Jacob chose to not contact me to discuss the any issues regarding the photo session. To just make a review and paint a picture of someone I am not is wrong. That being said, I was professional during the session. All of my sessions include an SD Card as well as editing. I tried my very Best to do a great photos. Being late to the session 25 minutes does not help. When photographing children it takes patience and time. On my website I disclose that I prefer to photograph the portraits first and candids later. I had my squeaky toy as well as tried over and over to get Jacob's children's attention. The fact is kids are in charge and if they are not in the mood there is not much one can do. Rushing to do candids because we have limited time is not the answer. Once we do that it's hard to go back to doing portraits. I always allow parents to view the images on my camera during the session. Toddlers are much more comfortable with their family when they are taking photos and not put on the spot for a photo session. My style of photography is not for everyone but I put my heart and soul into every photo session. Jacob's review is a dishonest one. Full of hate. At the end of every session I hand every client an SD card of all of the unedited images. I also follow up with an email with a copyright attached and a next step for editing. I never received a reply. My photo session are based on time. My email correspondence include directions. If my client goes to the wrong location because they did not bother to follow the directions included in my email then by the time they arrive to the correct location our session time will be reduced. I set up a multi-generational photoshoot with Anthony before our trip to Ko Olina on Oahu. He was extremely responsive as we set up a date and time, and Secret Beach ended up being the absolute perfect location for our family. He was ready and waiting for us at the start time, and worked quickly and efficiently to capture so many different groupings of people. I was impressed with how hard he worked to get the little kids smiling and looking at the camera. Being able to walk away with an SD card of over 225 quality images for the price was amazing, and it was fun coming home to pick out the ones to be edited professionally by him. I would totally recommend booking Anthony for your next family vacation! We never once had to stress about hoping to find someone to hand out phone to in order to get a group pictures, and this spot - with the lush trees, sand, and waves - looked like the quintessential Hawaii trip. Thank you again Anthony!

Great photo session! Anthony was very professional and personable. He made us feel so comfortable and let us review our photos before finishing up. Our pictures turned out amazing and at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend Anthony and will always use his services when in Hawaii.

Anthony was awesome. He gave clear directions, although we learned quickly that we don’t know our left from our right. The unedited photos came out great and the edited ones, came back a lot quicker than expected.
