Ama Raw Bar West Village

Went here with 5 friends to celebrate a friend's birthday. Got 2 rounds of happy hour oysters (what a deal!) and the charred octopus, bao buns, steak tartare & chicken wings plus cocktails & bottles of blanc de blancs. Food & drink were all delicious, service was friendly & attentive, and the vibe was simultaneously cool & cozy.

Had a holiday party here in the back room. Service was very attentive and the food was delicious. Very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend.

AMAZING!!! You must go here. I took my parents here last night and was completely blown away. The space is so cute and our waitress was awesome. The food was the real star though. We ordered:
- oysters (9/10, the ponzu scallion sauce was unreal)
- salmon crudo (7/10, this was really good but frankly just didn't stand out next to the other things we ate!)
- lobster bao buns (10/10, c'mon... delicious)
- bulgogi bao buns (12/10, the best thing i've eaten in forever, a little spice to them that made me want to eat 10 more)
- sichuan bao buns (10/10)
- drunken mussels (11/10, these mussels were HUGE. so flavorful. the nori fries were really just normal fries with a tiny sprinkle of nori on top, but i didn't mind at all because the fries were perfect)
- wasabi brown butter shrimp (9/10, so good but the cauliflower on the side really stole the show)

When they brought the check, they also brought some mochi ice creams that were exactly what I didn't know I needed. This was such a great meal and I am glad I live nearby and can go again soon :)

great ambiance place for fresh seafood with an Asian twist. We went here after theater with mom and got bao buns with shrimps, mussels in coconut sauce with fries and deviled eggs. I recommend all but mussels are not a must, I just like them normally
