My wife and I travel on their private week in Costa Rica tour. They took all the stress out of travel, every logistic need was covered, and the trip documentation was outstanding. Enjoyed all the accommodations, and meals arranged for us. Top feature though was the guide / driver who cared for us during our stay. We really enjoyed his company and deep knowledge of the country. Once he understood what we like to see, he was able to adapt on the drives to give us a more local experience. Yes there is a premium to using their service, but in my estimation it is well earned in the details.

We've traveled with Alexander & Roberts three times now and all have been incredible experiences. The trips themselves are wonderful but the most amazing part is that we never have to worry about anything, every detail is always taken care of. Once we sign up and choose our flights, we don't have to think about anything except choose which amazing activity we want to do on any particular day. The accommodations are always first class, transfers are taken care of, the activities and all guides/hosts have been remarkable and even going from country to country was seamless for us as all paperwork was anticipated. Looking forward to our next adventure with A & R!

I've traveled many times with Alexander+Roberts and have not been disappointed! Southern Africa, Peru, Egypt, Vietnam. The level of service is extraordinary. Meet and greet at the airport, fabulous guides, beautiful accommodations and wonderful meals. I'll travel with them again in a heartbeat.

We traveled to Russia with this company and had a marvelous trip. Our tour guides were the most knowledgeable and friendly people we've ever dealt with. Hotels and food were extraordinary and the small number of guests in our party (8) made for a delightful trip. I highly recommend this company and would gladly use them again.

My siblings and I sent my parents to Africa on Alexander+Roberts "Journey to South Africa and Victoria Falls" tour with an extension to Botswana to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary! We compared a number of companies, and ultimately chose the A+R package over the others (it had a lot to do with the small group sizes, and the itinerary - my folks were very excited to see the Cape Winelands as well as go on safari, and they really flipped over the Thornybush Lodge, which is set on a private game-reserve adjacent to Kruger). My folks had such a wonderful time - they said they were treated like royalty - that they've since booked two more trips with Alexander + Roberts and have had nothing but positive words to say about them!

My trip to South Africa was top notch. The guides, the luxury tents, camps, hotels were absolutely stunning and more than I could image.
Ready to go to Egypt, India and Antarctica.

The trip thru Southern New Zealand was Unbelievable! John (Guide) & Mark (Driver) were a Great combination to show 12 of us this FANTASTIC country. Northern New Zealand was ok, but "someone" at Alexander & Roberts made the decision to cut it short to provide cheaper travel Without discussing with the customer - I would have paid more to have the in country time!
We visited: a War Museum (that was more like a history of New Zealand - very interesting), 2 wineries, multiple locations for movies like The Hobbit series & Wolverine), 2 National Parks, multiple game parks, the home of a New Zealand family, a Fantastic Botanical Garden, spent a full day on the water in Milford Sound & stayed in some Extremely nice facilities! Seeing thus thru the commentary of John & Mark made us Appreciate it even more.

My wife and I booked an Icelandic tour with Alexander+Roberts a year in advance. It was to arrive on June 21st, the longest day of the year, but was cancelled three months prior to departure because they were unable to book six travelers. They ruined our summer travel plans as all reputable tour companies were already fully booked. Does Alexander+Roberts only cater to vampires?
