About Affinity Body Solutions
We are a family owned and operated health & wellness center. Dr. Michael B. Austin D.O., is our Founder and Medical Director.
Dr. Austin's background encompasses Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Rehabilitative Medicine and Bariatrics. He has over 15 years experience as a board Certified Emergency Physician.
Dr. Austin and his staff fully understand the complications of being overweight, since he has seen and treated the diseases associated with it in an emergency setting. This gives him a unique perspective relating to patients who are overweight or obese.
Dr. Austin is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and the Hillsborough County Osteopathic Medical Society where he is the current Secretary and board member.
Dr. Austin believes that a lifestyle change is the major item that needs to be achieved in order for a person to become healthy. He helps his patients achieve this with adequate and proper teaching, behavior modification and motivation techniques.

We offer medically supervised weight loss programs that are customized to each individual. This includes prescribed appetite suppressants, injections, blood work, EKG, and also nutritional counseling. We have our own full line of pharmaceutical grade supplements as well.

Beautiful office!! The staff is so friendly and the Doctors are top notch. This is the third medical weight loss center I have tried, I could have saved hundreds if I had found Affinity Body Solutions first. You actually get to see the doctors unlike the other facilities I went to. I feel so comfortable with doctor Austin and have recommended my Mother and Sister to join, they love it !!!Report
