THE MAN TRAUMATIZED MY DOGS - WE HAD TO GET THE COPS TO GET OUR DOGS BACK I used to live in NY. I would not leave a review living within a few hours of this man. He's a crook. He buys reviews, lies about his history, stole nearly $4,000 from me. My dogs came home without a hint of training, but thoroughly traumatized. My female was even flinching (never did that before) which led me to believe his ex employees that later told me he abuses dogs. DO read all of his real reviews. The ones that applaud him, offer no photos and no real details and they can be spotted instantly as 'bought and paid for'.

Jim helped our family with our 1 year old toy poodle Penny. She struggled with sleeping through the night, resource guarding and eating things off the street while on walks. Jim was so understanding and instilled great confidence and realistic expectations with us. We felt so comfortable with him from the get go and knew our puppy was in good hands. We couldn’t be happier and would recommend anyone looking to get a proper training experience for their dog and for how they as the owner should handle their puppy.

We have an 8 month old Doberman Pinscher named Rosie who spent one month training with Jim at Acadia K9. We are beyond happy with the obedience training that Rosie received, she is a completely different pup. Our expectations were beyond surpassed by Jim and his team! The home environment that Jim offers was something that meant a lot to us. Leaving your puppy for a month is definitely an adjustment for you as well as them, so to know she was comfortable was reassuring. Jim sent us many video updates which offered a peek inside the training process. It was nice to be able to keep track of Rosie’s progress and be able to see her hard work. Jim is very knowledgeable about not only dog training but also the psychology of a dog. He taught us many things about our pup that will help her live a happy, healthy life. If you are considering getting your pup trained, we highly recommend Jim. It is an investment but one you won’t regret! There is nothing better than helping your pup achieve their true potential and happiness. Choosing Jim at Acadia K9 will always be the best decision we’ve ever made for our girl Rosie! We will also now use Jim to board Rosie when we go away, as she has built a trustful relationship with him and his team. We are very excited for Rosie and all the wonderful memories she will continue to make at Acadia K9.

Jim at Acadia Canine Academy is amazing! He really cares about the dogs and their owners, which makes all the difference. We’ve worked with Jim on bite work and board-and-train, and his commitment and care have stood out the whole time. He keeps us updated with training videos, so we always know how Finn is doing.

Finn loves spending time with Jim and the rest of the crew at Acadia Canine Academy. I couldn’t recommend Jim more! He gave Finn his first "breath of life" and will always be his biggest fan. We’re so glad we found Acadia Canine Academy!

Jim Stile is a true dog whisperer. Our hound mix, Lucy spent two weeks with him and learned all the basics of obedience a a few other things that we asked for. He has a kind way with his dogs and those he trains; something that’s very important to us. He was generous with his time in “training” the dog owners to what Lucy had learned and how to handle her. My housemate and I recommend him highly.

I called Jim to discuss issues my Aussie is having around people coming to the house. He is so knowledgable about dogs. I have honestly never spoken to anyone I've called about home away dog training that I would trust like him. My dog has heart worm issues so first dealing with that - and next up - Jim!

HE IS WISE, RESPECTFUL OF YOUR NEEDS AND YOUR DOG. MY HUSBAND WAS ILL AND JIM TOOK THE BEST CARE OF OUR NEEDS. NOT EVEN MY BEST FRIENDS AT THE TIME DID. I JUST MET HIM. JIM IS A WONDERFUL TRAINER AND FRIEND. LOVE HIM.

Jim, has been nothing but helpful since he came into my pups life. She was aggressive towards people and dogs, he did his board and training camp saw she needed Prozac and recommended Prozac and after he continue to work with my dog, now whenever I go away he’s the one that stays with her, she is apart of his pack and will forever be the only place she goes to. The amazing impact he has on dogs is definitely worth the price and more, it’s a dog perfect getaway while they learn to behave properly. Thank you Jim for everything!
