Did not complete work. Left old rusted flashing in areas where new architectural shingles had been installed. Left a leaking rain diverter.

We regret to hear of Mr. Webb's' dissatisfaction as it was an absolute pleasure to replace the roof on his lovely historic home. 5 Star made multiple trips back to Mr. Webb's home. With each trip though, new issues appeared to arise that were not previously discussed and were not being mentioned during our visit. The chimney flashing was not replaced, and that amount was discounted from the total invoice. We examined the chimney flashing and it determined it to be in good shape and since it is embedded in the stone material that composes the exterior facade of the chimney, more than likely the stone facade would sustain damage if the embedded flashing were to be removed. Since this is a Historic Home, we wanted to take great care not to damage any of the homes' historic features. This was explained to Mr. Webb in detail. The flashing Mr. Webb is referencing is set behind a custom piece of exposed antique milled trim board that would most likely sustain damage if we removed it to replace this flashing. Again, being a Historic Home there are requirements as to the appearance and design of these types of details. We explained to Mr. Webb if he could find the matching piece of trim board that we would replace the flashing. The leak in the rain diverter seam and the sag in the garage roof were both mentioned after the fact of the multiple trips, and it began to appear that final payment was being deflected. Although Mr. Webb does not appear to be satisfied with our service, we feel we made every attempt to address every issue that arose.

This is the biggest JOKE of a roofing company, they are thieves plain and simple.

Please note that Mr. Wear is a former employee. We regret to hear of Mr. Wear's opinion of our company. In regards to our company being a JOKE, I will have to respectfully disagree. We take our jobs very seriously, and provide extensive training and support for our sales team. Thieves is not the term I would choose to describe our company. Rather I might use the term dedicated or committed. Every individual that decides to sale for our company is explained in detail on how our process and procedures operate, and if these procedures are not followed that is considered a breach of our agreement. We try to set our sales reps up for success, and in turn ask for them to reciprocate by complying with our procedures. We wish Mr. Wear the very best in his future endeavors.

We love 5 Star roofing! Adam and Jason always take care of our clients quickly and professionally.

5 star did an awesome job installing our new roof and helping with the claim process. They were able to resubmit A claim to insurance and get a different adjuster involved to help pay for the roof. The process was pretty smooth and they cleaned up everything when done. Highly recommend
