Dealing with death includes many aspects: the physical (funeral and burial), the mental (denial and acceptance) and the emotional (grief and remembering the one who died). Religious beliefs also play a large part in death or near-death experiences. As a society, we have cultural traditions for dealing with death but ultimately, it is as an individual that we must come to terms with what death means to us.
