Category Description:

The Colorado Ranger Horse was named after the location where it originated, the Colorado high plains. There is no color requirement for the breed, although many of them display spots similar to the Appaloosa coloring. All Colorado Rangerbred horses can trace their bloodlines back to one of the two original herd sires, Patches #1Z and Max #2Z.
