The Azteca breed resulted from the crossing of Andalusian stallions with Quarter Horse and Criollo mares. In Spain and Portugal, where they were developed, the breed is used to work cattle and in bullfighting. This breed is very versatile, able to compete and win in reining, dressage, jumping, cutting, driving, or trail.
