Titus was born a Gentile in Greece and was converted to Christianity by Paul. Paul considered Titus his spiritual son, and Titus served as Paul's interpreter and accompanied him to Jerusalem during the dispute about the conversion of Gentiles, as well as Corinth, and Macedonia. Paul ordained him the Bishop of Crete.
